I had once ordered ink refill kit and they had sent syringes with it. My dad thought was shocked and I had to explain him that it is not what he thinks. In fact to completely remove his doubt I did the refill in front of him and got a smiley printout.

Maybe the op can probably ask amazon for an apology mail and show his parents the order no and the goof ups. All the best
