Guys my Paytm account was hacked yesterday and guy did a recharge of Rs 150 yesterday night. I didn’t use the Acc for the last 2 months.
The guy recharged the number 9927039117 and true caller shows it as Idea number from UP uttarakhand. Anybody knows about the number?
Never happened to me before. This is to warn you guys to be careful. Kind of scary to think how easy it is to hack an account.
Don’t know if writing to Paytm will help and it’s too small an amount to go to Police.

Weird generally what hackers do is they transfer money from your wallet to their wallet and then either use it up or else keep transferring to another wallet so that even paytm may not get ur money back .This guy seems to be a novice did u accidentally leak your gmail password somewhere
May be someone used your number to register (by randomly entering number) so they can get cashback. Since paytm only give cashback for verified numbers.
Yes but couldn’t connect.
I am usually very careful regarding passwords and it wasn’t too easy a password either. And it was a Hotmail account.
Let’s give some slangs to that number by calling.
How much money left in the wallet now?
It had only 150 luckily. 
Guys the Twitter paytm care is amazing. Just tweeted them saying I didn’t do that transaction and asked for refund and within 5 minutes they responded and refunded my money back.
