Shop clues Fraud - Legal Options or Accept Fate?

get the replacement first. then decide what to do. how much did you buy it for?

What if they are asking it back to seize the evidence from me? I don’t want their replacement either. I just want my money back. What if they don’t agree for a refund?

i too bought from ebay banglore seller.. .transcen 32 gb for 530 rupees.. have doubt its fake… hot to check it?

Replacement is again gonna be a fake one ! No Point in replacing a fake card with a fake card ! i have already gone through this in my early days of Online Shopping . Filed a case against them with the help of Akosha . They took 580 for filling the case . Got 2500 + 500 (fees !) as compensation ! This was long time back . Don’t know what they charge now ! And that turned out to be my last order with Shopclues !

If you are looking at legal option, do not replace it.

Despite so many warnings in the forum you had opted for cheatclues!! Remember the old adage – if something looks too temptingly cheap then it is indeed a fake..

This was about 3 months ago. Till then I’ve never had problems with them. Have purchased jockey briefs to mobile phone. All went well for the past 3 years.

The question is :- Who are you going to intimidate ??

When i talked to their Customer Care i said i would be filling a case in Consumer court and they would have to face the consequences .
The guy replied " Jaa Kirna hai jo kirle xyz …" !! Imagine talking to Customer Care who instead of listening is threatening ! One of good things i learnt from my shopclues experience is always record your conversations with the Customer Care ! You never know when you would need them .I always do the same !

Try posting your Email Log as it is on their FB page ! If you are lucky they may refund you ! But chances are less !

u cannot do much if they have offered you replacement. but if they replacement too turns out fake you can make anywhere between 1k to 10k easily.

Bought many things from them. Some damaged or defective. But they always refund those. However, except a mixer, all were small value items.

Here is an update. They finally sent me a mail in December saying my refund was in process. I got half the amount in Jan after several email followups. When I enquired about the partial refund, they’re saying that I had returned only the adapter, hence the partial refund.

I expressed my displeasure at this, and told them I would initiate legal action if they don’t refund the whole amount. For this, they kept copy-pasting that my refund has already been processed, and money returned. Last week, one of the executives replied that my issue has been forwarded to the concerned dept., and that they would look into the request for total refund in a day or two. I’m yet to hear from them.

From my past experience, I’ve felt disappointed with them for items below ₹500. But lately, almost everything is disappointing. People who are promoting these deals should realize that they’re convincing themselves that something bought for ₹50-60 and found to be worthless isn’t a problem for them. You’re unknowingly directing unsuspecting customers to believe that shopclues is giving amazing deals at throwaway prices. It’s only a matter of time that you all get screwed up big time.

Even if you think you’re cleverly buying stuff for ₹50, and avoiding more pricey stuff, you’re wrong. Many drops form an ocean. Many ₹50s make a million.

And when you eventually get screwed up at some point of time, you’ll see how painful it is. Words can’t explain how they simply keep responding to your mails repeatedly with the same words, without even addressing your concerns.

If you call them, you’ll end up losing more than you’ve already lost. They don’t have a toll-free number.

Got another mail saying my refund is already complete, and that I should contact my bank for further update. I wish I could line them up and shove big casuarina logs smeared with chili powder up their assets! 😠

The product cost was 787. They have refunded 387. And they’re saying they’ve given a partial refund because I have returned only the adapter, and not the memory card. This they’re saying after giving partial refund in the 3rd week of Jan, although they received my returned product by the first week of Dec. Don’t expect that DD admins or other ‘responsible’ senior dimers will avoid deals from SC. Simply put, nobody cares! For each, his own!! So let’s help ourselves, coz we can now!!!

I have used this website previously against (Futurebazaar.com); since then it’s almost 3-4 years and I am yet to hear back from them; hope they have changed ; Akosha.com would be better in your case
