yup I too had a similar experience with IP
Kept me on hold for 12 days to expect recovering their out of stock item and then initiated refund

Include “Fetise.com” , They did’nt Deliver the Product even after 2 Months, No email reply,Customer Care No. is always heldup!:evil:

taggle is worse….. always refunding….. the best is tradus…once they sold it…u will get it

if im in their city,i would directly go to their office and collect them for free without shippingh charges…..hahahha

bagittoday is the worst site. I still can’t believe it’s from INDIA TODAY group. A media house is running such an unethical site.

Based on what I’ve gone through over the years, I am very much skeptical about following sites:

taggle.com, timtara.com, naaptol.com, bigadda.com etc. I never bought from rediff.com, indiatimes.com etc because of bad experience in past.

brandsvillage.com and fetise.com are highly overpriced. Even Undies cost more than 600-700 on those sites.

Indiaplaza always mess up with order processing but they cover up after refunding.
99labels takes at least a month but products are genuine. Same is true for Fashionandyou.

Same here. Have ordered thrice from them in the last 1 month, 2 orders received before the promised date, third order is a pre-order for a book, so still in progress. Their customer care replies via FB page in a timely manner!

mydala is the worst of all for me atleast….ordered something worth 2k which was supposed to be delivered within 5 days!!..now it’s been a month no signs of any shipping details…never received a single call from their side…have been totally exhausted calling them again n again….worst customer care I’ve ever dealt with…no communication skills….I think each one of them have been given some fixed response line when somebody calls them…one guy keeps on repeating “within 2 days”, one says “by evening”, other one says “we’ll call you back in an hour with details” but as obvious no call..

My experiences -

Indiaplaza – Unprofessional and tardy. Placed couple orders in the past, but they always cancelled after a long wait. No response to emails. However, since they did eventually refund and I had a voucher I recently placed order for couple of books and surprise of surprise, one was delivered a day after the expected delivery date and the other one over a week later. It has a long way to go before it can match Flipkart or Infibeam. So it would be my last option.

Fetise – No buying experience yet, but I referred a friend who purchased but they have not given me the credit yet. On mailing I was told I would get it after the product was delivered to him… which is supposed to take weeks! Weird. Not happy with that, else would have made at least one purchase.

Bestylish – Very bad/ineffective customer service & untrustworthy. Returns are absolute hell. First you have to beg them to get it picked up and that can take weeks. Then you have to beg them for refund for another 1.5 months. Whats worse is they don’t honor their own terms and conditions and promises. In short did not honor voucher and in one case they are not giving neither refund (for additional amount paid)or voucher for returned item. Written it off after wasting lot of money and time on calls & mails. Not going to buy again from them.

IndiaPlaza is worst, I will never ever visit their website again……
Worst customer support, Never reply to Mails and Queries, very Unprofessional…..

I had bad Experience with Myntra, Viadeals and Letsbuy also but due to their customer support and good communication, I will think to buy again from them…

A Big NO to Indiaplaza, Bigadda, Bagittoday, 99Labels, ViaDeals….
They are just Crap..

The best is ebay, I have placed more than 15 Orders and never got a single problem till date…….

Looks like you haven’t met Mydala as yet….. they are like the worst thing ever to have happened to ecommerce business… they next in line for dot com collapse…….I don’t know what you bought from them but Indiaplaza is really awesome with books bro… They are way too slow to respond to complaint tickets though, that I agree.

For me..til now only nd only those F**unkin BAGITTODAY GUYS…Stupid, idiots, they never fulfil the order if we purchase it using ny sort of coupon……

99LABELS is yet to be fully experienced…. I am halfway through it.
THOUGH on principle it is a site to AVOID!
I had unfortunately, placed an order on the 8th of Sept. Called them up today…. they told me not to expect despatch before at least 20 working days (counted AFTER closure of their sale and NOT counting Saturdays and Sundays!!) Thats a clean month !!!
VERY VERY HIGHLY AVOIDABLE….. would not have placed order if had known the supply timelines.

I’d say GREENDUST is also an avoidable site. 5th Sept order, still no news….. called today….. dont have the product in stock. Imagine… selling seconds and still waiting for the factory to produce a flawed piece so that it can qualify as a second!!

TIMTARA is also giving me the jitters currently!! Will update within a couple of days after seeing what happens to my order.

We really need a proper list of Good and Bad sites.

I am somehow surprised to find indiaplaza come up so much in this list. I have been shopping with them for over 10 years (since their launch, as fabmart.com), and must have placed well over a hundred orders with them. There have been delays at times, and some items have been cancelled by them, but they have always either delivered or refunded. On 1-2 occasions, I have got defective products, which has been remedied pretty well. I know that they often delay in their shipping, so I won’t buy anything that is time critical from them, but if I can afford to wait, they often give a much better price – on books specially – than infibeam or flipkart. In the last 2-3 months, though, Indiaplaza has mostly been prompt in shipping books.

I haven’t bought from bagittoday, but then, India Today used to cheat subscribers by not giving them promised subscription gifts – so why do people express so much surprise with bagittoday cheating?

My own worst experience is with seventymm, who never gave me the free gifts that were supposed to come with their order, and never bothered to replace a defective dvd that they sent me. They never responded to emails, and I gave up after a few phone calls where their customer support people would invariably lie.

My experience with Indiatimes shopping has not been very great either – though all problems with them were always sorted out after talking to a few people there. But the sheer ratio of orders gone wrong and the effort needed to get it fixed makes me stay away from them.

For me, it has to be Bigadda. I purchased an item on 28th June and it did not arrive so I kept following up for more than 2.5 months!
After which I got back my cash of Rs. 75. And they didn’t refund the GV I’d used. Oh, and they have a tolled customer care number in Mumbai so be prepared to pay STD charges when you call them..

Worst possible scum of the Indian e-commerce business.

Koovs is good i got my orders in 10 days and i got them at very good deal so really happy.

Avoid soldinsixty.com, booked 3 products some 8 days back but they haven’t even shipped them yet. Customer care is pathetic.
