what will we do when we are stuck in a heavy traffic jam
If this is the scene of the Express highway,, then what will happen about the normal roads when these much vehicles come on!!..
When I last visited Gurgaon, this was a usual scene during rush hours.
Thank god i was WFH on Thursday..

are you sure this is not a FAKE PICTURE? Delhi Gurgaon express way is 6 to 8 lane express way. Just count the cars from one end to the other, nearly 26 cars.
Also why are all the cars white?
why majority of cars in white color

The area near the toll plaza is a lot wider. It’s a 32-lane toll plaza — the biggest in South Asia and the second biggest in Asia.

The reflection of natural sun light and the angle at which that the picture was taken make it seem that way. Zoom in and look carefully, you will see different colors.

Haha,, never actually paid heed to that.
Rather than monster traffic, I find it more impressive that India has 32 Lane exressway, even if its a small strech (little things in life).

One more possible reason could be “Uber” and “Ola”
(if its a servicable area)
Because see in Delhi, People travelling to Nodia and Gurgaon , are Highly Addicted to Uber and Ola
and 99.99% Cars of these companies are “White”
Dhinka chikka dhinka chikka!
I was part of this jam. This is a real pic..
People can’t spot me but I was on a Shiny black Bajaj Platina (VIP number 6600)
Bhai reason for massive jam was: -
1. Kawar yatra (Shiv devotees get a religious thing from Haridwar to their hometown on foot). So separate lanes for them and special traffic provisions. Hence traffic is intermittantly stopped to make way for these religious people on priority. But for strange reasons, they choose highways to walk. Numero Uno reason
2. Heavy heavy rains on the same day. Traffic goes out of bound.
3. Peak office hour traffic from Delhi-Gurgaon side in morning and vice-versa in evening. (Pic from morning)
4. Ubers and Olas are flooded in Gurgaon due to ban on Diesel cabs in Delhi. So they come to Haryana (Gurgaon) and UP (Noida) areas more to get rides.
5. Took me 3 hour 45 minutes that day to cover a distance of 38 kms from ITO to Sector 49, Gurgaon.
But its not that ways always. I love my Gurgaon.
And yes road has 24+ lanes in this stretch.
This is the Delhi-Haryana border place.
In Bangalore, in order to cover 12 Km’s distance I have to give 75 Mins. And I do it twice a day.

I don’t take bus. I start from Sarjapur Road and cross Silk Board and have to reach JP Nagar 2nd phase.
Now a days traffic starts from Sarjapur Road itself but becomes like hell at Silk Board.

Don’t ask please. It was such a beautiful city but now getting ruined every day.
Yeah, it became way much dusty and smoky now.
Yesterday it took me around 10.5 hours(including 1 hour stoppage) from jaipur to delhi in a merc bus 6:30pm to 5am
I was travelling to GGN during evening hours yesterday. Luckily my cab driver took M.G road which was unusually traffic free yesterday . Now i see why. Seems like most of the folks were on NH8 expressway.

Exactly. NH-8 is flooded. And arterial roads are more or less in average traffic at peak times too.
Doubt: Bro, do you advice me taking MG road for India gate – to gurgaon in evening? In place of NH-8! Was there any kawar yatra affect on MG road too?
PRO TIP : While in peak traffic on Delhi-Gurgaon Express way, (Morning from Delhi-Gurgaon and evening vice-versa) Take service lanes and avoid Main carriageway and you will be greeted by surprisingly average traffic. Below all flyovers
Try it.

After the toll booths were closed, NH8 traffic has gone up by multi-folds.
yes, I would suggest you to take MG road if you heading to India Gate. Most of the traffic in this route seems to be around Chattarpur-Vasant kunj area.
My commute is from GGN-Delhi early morning and Delhi-GGN during evening. During morning hours it just takes me 20 mins to reach South Delhi from GGN.
