[WARNING] Stay away from folks who are offering free uber rides (must read story)
Hi Dimers,
I would like to warn all dimers to carefully transact before purchasing a cab booking service from other members.
Yesterday, I dealt with a Dimer @chamrcb383

I asked for a 600 ride which he offered for 50 oxi cash. Once I paid him the amount, he provided me an uber account.
Luckily I logged in on the uber website, to check if the 600 promo is applied or not.
To my surprise, the dimer had only activated a referral of 250 and had i booked a cab using that very account, i would have had to pay the rest of amount to the cab driver.
On reporting this to the dimer, he seemed to be confused. I asked for a refund, he stated that he would provide me a refund of Rs. 50 by evening.
In the evening, after multiple follow ups, the person agreed to pay back in the form of ola cash. I refused stating that I do not require ola cash.
After series of follow up, i agreed stating that you refund my amount in any manner, be it ola money.
In the night, he provided 30 ola cash instead of 50 stating that he would return the rest of the amount in next 2 days.
NOTE: I am creating this thread not for a matter of Rs. 50, but want to shed some light on the way this user has been looting folks.
So, please be aware of this user or others who are selling uber rides.

Was in a hurry… Saw the most recent post where this service was being offered. I thought that for Rs. 50 no one would create this kind of fuss…. And generally ive dealt with newbies in the past, most of the folks are responsible..
Its just because of a few dimers, that noobs suffer in DD forum

Not a matter of cheap… Its a matter of who is available at what time and could book your ride at the earliest…

Better to stick with reliable service providers. I have good experience with both heart_attacker and UberDeals for cheap uber rides.
