What Exactly Is Payumoney Wallet?

I’m asking specifically about the wallet that is co-branded with RBL Bank. Seems like it is just a wallet like Mobikwik or PayTM. But my question is, is there any advantage of activating it in Payumoney? Because we can use Payumoney and its cashback offers even without activating the wallet. Does the wallet give any extra reward points or something, besides the usual cashback?

No, I don’t think it gives any extra rewards.

But its helpful in looting some deals as I did in Shopclues 90% off deal by adding money before the deal started.
And I’m sure we’ll see more 90% off deals from PayUmoney.

You get immediate Refunds in your wallet.

Add to that there is also an option to initiate transfer of Refunds in the original mode of payment(CC/DC/NET BANKING) after you get refunds in your PayU wallet.

Thanks guys. No much point of activating if there are no reward points, I guess.

game.ruler, you mean its helpful only because adding money to wallet beforehand speeds up the payment process? But I think once you are at the payment page, the product mostly gets reserved for you for a few minutes at least… is it not so?

Yes, but even those 30-40 extra seconds that you spend per transaction (bank’s OTP verification) put you at risk for (1) not being able to buy your preferred products (because they go OOS within a few minutes), (2) running out of the limited time for that promotion.

Let’s not forget the other important factor — convenience. Moreover, I have found PayUMoney to be the most trustworthy and reliable payment solution so I wouldn’t think twice about keeping a few hundreds in my PayU wallet for such promotions.

Also see @silent6191 ’s post above.

^Thanks dude. +1 about Payumoney. Always hassle free and professional, till date. The wallet is co-branded / managed with Ratnakar Bank though.

Yes, I obviously noted silent6191’s post the first time around. https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
