saw that 30$ lumia 640
But an additional 4$ shipping and 18% s&h and customs kind of killed the deal for me { there is an Indian quote that fits perfectly fine here but forgot that ; something like samaan 25 paise ka and packing 50 ki ; can’t remember that exactly ; my father says that too often to me }

if you (or the end user) can settle for the local brands and take risks w.r.t. average service and repairs then I think Spice, Micromax and so on might have few options.




in box open or if somehow discounts are there in re-sale (with some warranty), then I’d say Asus Zenfone type stuff should be a reasonable buy. Of-course, i do not even know if it’d come in the budget under 5k. But in better phone makers, i’d say the Taiwanese people (Acer, Asus, HTC) are good.
