Performance is also better but some issues are there like 100% disk usage, 100% ram usage, this is more of compatibility issues not particularly generic issue

currently i hold original ms ofc 2013 but even though it asks to enter prod key as it has expired im able to use it like editing n creating docs.
in win 10 can we use non original ms ofc for creating n editing docs?

Incidentally my old Compaq lappy almost died ‘cos of win 10 upgrade… but somehow I revived it and curiously tried win 10 again on it two months after the incident… now it’s working fine on win 10…

so this upgradtation is just like updated we received in windows right?
do we need to follow a diff process for win 10 up-gradation unlike we do for normal updates?

Other one is to create bootable USB/disc and run it within the operating system [You can also install windows 10 via BIOS but upgrade usually doesnt work or it may ask for windows 10 serial]

2 Sooner or later it will b better than 8.1 ,it will b more secure and microsoft has plans to not to release new windows for some tym
3 no u wont face performance issue,they are working hard to make it better

I dont think you will need to download additional drivers from intel or OEM websites
I have a 7 year old HP PC with intel first gen i3 and i got all the driver updates via windows update
and my device doesn’t even have official windows 8 drivers even [OEM abandoned my PC much before windows 8 release ]

As for win 7 or win 8.1 drivers, u can either reinstall (after deleting) or download from respective manufacturer website… For my old compaq lappy, I did not need to reinstall any drivers as such…

Bro, no issues faced. I downloaded Win 10 64-bit s/w from microsoft site, created bootable USB and proceeded with Upgrade option when prompted.

As afar I can tell most drivers support Windows 10 and lot of drivers which are made for 8.1 worked for me when iI wa using the windows 10 preview . But if there is a specific driver your holding up for than tell me those drivers I will check and tell..

I can’t say windows 10 is perfect but windows 8/8.1 is the second worst OS next to vista.
