With Diners card, if u redeem points, best and nothing like it..But even if u dnt, convenience fee is always waived off, but sometimes prices are slightly higher on some sectors and I dnt know why but I have observed…Sometimes it’s same as other websites and sometimes it is slightly higher…
With regards to direct websites, if gocash, yatra e-cash, MMT wallet money gives u a high (which cld only be possible if u a frequent traveller), then makes sense…..but on these websites also u can club both e-cash+bank specific offer which eventually results into a net benefit of not more than 8-10% on a ticket price of Rs 6000 considering convenience fee is not waived here.
Best way to do is – what every dimer anyways does it (reiterating it only for the effect purpose)
Compare the options and where u r getting the best deal, go for that one.. 
Although my personal favourite option is buying Cleartrip GVs at a discount whenever they come up at 10% or higher, use it on CT website and get the convenience fee too waived off which usually results in a clear and immediate benefit of 15-20% depending upon the ticket price, sector booking etc..

Is it only me or others are also noticing that outrightly Convenience charges are not being levied but price on HDFC Smartbuy page is 150-200 bucks on the higher side from Goibibo/MMT.
What if they mean no HDFC Smartbuy convenience fee?
P.S. Breakup shows all taxes and basic fare only.

bro if u r buying without vouchers then hdfcsmartbuy will be cheapest for tickets less then 3k they r using cleartrip and goibibo…regalia and diners site will be good for using vouchers here they use via…smartbuy was not taking convenience fees till now but from 1 month they have started but for this 2 days they have stoped i think…
If the payment does not go through, there is no CC for Smartbuy, so you will never get your money back. Be careful.
