The power adapter that came with mine (from China) feels cheap, the hub itself is decently built. I don’t think the hub will give up anytime soon.
I think if the power adapter fails, a replacement will be easy enough to find (it’s a standard 5V 1A Casio-type pin adapter).
Right now it’s working fine, Mom tried plugging in two 2.5inch HDDs, several pendrives, wireless mouse adapter, keyboard etc (in short tried her best to put as much load as possible), it didn’t falter.

The first one (Groupon) is total waste, bought one from ebay long back. Waste of money. Just bought that assuming to connect my Portable Hard disk.
The Second one ( Enter-eBay) is some what ok. Out of 7 connections 5 not working and the remaining 2 still working. Using this more than an year. Problem seems with switch. Both not meant for gadgets like Portable Hard disk etc., can use with PD etc. The given power adapter is a mere eye wash.
Nothing agianst OP, just sharing my personal experience with co dimers.

Got it for 4.5$ from eBay (China) a month ago, Mom is using it right now. It’s a powered USB 2.0 hub BTW, high speed doesn’t mean USB 3.0 (but as far as powered USB 2.0 hubs go, at this price, it’s total paisa vasool
