I had purchased Rs500/- card on 13th and got it on Saturday .It got activated today evening automatically .B/w 2 cards bought during the offer last week are still not activated .

So what you have done for those 2 cards. Any action taken.
Visited the AXIS branch in my town. Guess what, they were absolutely clueless. Still they asked me to write a letter requesting activation of my cards and added they would see what could be done about it. But I’ve no hopes.

I had filed A-Z claim for all the cards ….1 got activated …other 2 might get activated in a day or 2 otherwise Amazon is there to refund the amount
Called and emailed axis. They told me to contact amazon as the card is not funded yet (whatever that mean)
Called amazon and they told me to contact qwikcilver instead.
Contacted qwikcilver and they too are clueless. Told me they haven’t got my card number in their system. Asked me to email a pic of the card along with purchase date and other info. Did that this morning and so far no response.
Won’t be bothering with these prepaid cards anymore. They’re nothing but trouble.

File a-z claim simple ….either the card will get activated or you will get refund.

Ya. I’m not worried about the money. I know I’ll get it back one way or the other. The waste of time and headache this has caused me is why I said I won’t be bothering with these cards anymore. Especially Axis ones.

Risk nahi. Headache and waste of time. Time is money. 100-200 ke liye itni tension nahi chahiye. Is se jyada to kaam me dhyaan laga ke kama lenge

Didn’t understand that myself. Amazon insisted they’ll fix the issue so contacted them.

When you say contacted, did you mean over the phone or did you go to the local branch? I have to visit my local branch so wanted to know.
Based on the dimer user experience, what should have been a great deal is turning out to be a nightmare.

Went to the branch, He had no idea about this and he said that only the branch from where card details were added can activate it !!!
I kept on arguing and then left !!!
Will visit another branch tomorrow, This deal is indeed going worse !!!

Just now got the card, tried logging in Axis Bank using the card no and webpin as password but it didn’t work. So it means my card is not activated yet. I even didn’t receive any SMS from them regarding this like @zubies got. Someone is saying that they went to local branch and got the card activated, some says they filed A-Z claim and got it activated.
Could someone please who faced condition like me and got the card successfully activated, please tell us the steps. I’m sure lot of people are facing the same issue here.
Got message from Amazon that Refund initiated for 1900 and available in your card in 2-4 days time. Headache gone now and never ever I will go for these kind of deals.

I went to the local branch and they are doing something. They atleast know about gift cards and are following it up as per the update I got today from them. I will give them time till tomorrow and then file a claim.
My A-Z claimed rejected by amazon stating that card was activated and I used it twice .most shocking thing …Went to branch as well they mailed there internal team which confirmed that there is no issue with card ..But still the card is inactive ..:-{

it is not working for all cards, I sent mail on Saturday and still not activated, my luck is I got refund from Amazon.

Received a reply from AXIS within half an hour that the card was activated. But when I tried setting up 3D PIN while payment, it threw up this error message in the second step. WTF!
Its already done on Saturday, expecting reply from Amazon or seller. Pathetic thing even after filing A to Z claim seller did’t responding.
