Guys, i’m planning to replace my Moto g turbo with Redmi note 3. Although moto g turbo is a decent mobile but there are a few flaws. Battery backup is very poor( 5-6 hours). Phone has become very slow after multiple apps have been added. Is redmi note 3 a decent upgrade from moto g turbo?
@cybertechie Indeed a faster processor that can handle multitasking with a breeze is an upgrade. display is awesome too. battery awesome. camera is good. Go for it. Am an iPhone user but impressed with Redmi note 3 as my secondary device.

Indeed its a massive upgrade in every way. Not just CPU perf which trumps last year flagships but also NAND perf. App launch and switching times are among the best, second only to Huawei P9. Even the likes of Oneplus 3, Samsung Galaxy S7 are slower in this regard. And when it comes to web browsing again Redmi Note 3 aces most benchmarks. With Snapdragon optimised browser you will derive even more performance. Also the CPU is very well behaved when it comes to sustained perf and thermal characteristics. GPU is Vulkan-compliant as well so there is no technical impediment to a possible Nougat upgrade. And it enjoys decent support from the community. Unlocking the bootloader is a messy procedure though from what I have heard.Battery backup is outstanding(although it should be even better considering the massive battery). 12hours of web browsing over 3G ( lacks North American LTE bands;but LTE results should be pretty similar if past results are anything to go by ) and at 200 nits brightness.
