Then your order was for L only. I know it sucks, but I read on desidime only, that irrespective of size you selected, you will get what is in the title. All the best for your battle

It is a big package, cannot carry even in a car to the cycle shop.
If we look at the customer experience, it looks like it is not worth buying a cycle online.
Thank you.
What are you talking about? It is not rocket science. Hardly a handful of nuts need to be tightened. Come on man!

I know, even I am bewildered. In store I was wearing shoes, so perhaps it looked OK, but at home when I tried it, there was very less clearance in crotch area. Also, the M height is for 165 to 175 cm, and 5’8" comes up to be 172.7! I am not a pro rider, and I don’t want to risk my future family on some freak cycling accident. So going for M. Since the seat is a quick release type, adjusting height won’t be a problem.
My in seam leg is 32-32.5 inch, and the crotch clearance from the top tube (without any footwear) is almost 0.. I can stand over the bike, but the distance between family jewels and top tube is very less.

Yeah, looks a lot easier than I was thinking. With hand I was able to put together, but do not have tools to tighten the things. Nonetheless, a mechanic is required for me.
No user manual is given. Packaging is poor, no cushions inside. Nonetheless not many noticeable scratches.

How are you exchanging it?? As I might have to do the same. Is sports 365 replacing it with size m
CAn somebody guide me. I am 173 cm and 104kg.Would L be fine for me or m. Don’t want m to be small for my frame :p
Go to decathlon site verify them
Mostly 190+ XL
170-180 will take L
You can add some ± 5 to the above
My bike shipped by the seller ordered today at 10:30 am
all current coupons have minimum purchase of 799 that too for 1 qty of item, pretty useless to buy accessories. Waiting for another coupon to buy some accessories.
I also put order today around 11:30 am. I am from mumbai. where are you from?

What is your in seam? For 173, L is too large. Your ‘frame’ will be bigger on the bike because of the breadth, not the length Sorry I am not being insensitive, just saying that decide what you value more, your looks or your family jewels. You need to have a 2-4 inch clearance from the top tube to crotch for a MTB. I am 173 and was definitely worried about hitting family jewels on the top tube. Imagine if you break suddenly and find yourself sitting on the top tube.
As for weight carrying capacity, I doubt whether any size will give any problem. I will suggest M size to you. You can see in the chart I posted that 173 is M.

Same here. Bought size l but the description said size m but itle said size l.. Don’t know what they are gonna send. Confused as some dimers claiming that size l is big of 173cm. Some saying it is fine. Nothing can be done now other then wait for the package to arrive.

It is 33-34 inch I believe. Wearing a shoe is going to increase by at least 1inch more. Got the tracking number seems they have shipped it. If its not traceable by tomorrow will check with sports365 what they have sent or still bluedart has to pick it from them

If anyone needs the L size bike in delhi, let me know. I’ll sell it at cost. Also the accessories if you need any of them. I’m in model town, North delhi. Will post pics and other details in the trade section once I get a chance. This paytm shopping simply isnt for me. I have a rule in life where I refuse to deal with idiots no matter what. I like the discounts but the headache its given me is simply not worth it.

I’m barely 5’5". I havent actually tried the bike yet on the road. Just a quick trial in my home. It does feel uncomfortable. Maybe I can get used to it but dont want to do that as I’ll end up with a used cycle and people much taller than me have found the L size too big for them.
Also, a suggestion to anyone who’s bought yhe bike from paytm seller sports365. Please make sure to call them and confirm your order details directly so you dont end up like me. Do it even if the item is shipped.

I am 5ft 8. And confused about size l. What do you thin from you trial experience. Would it be too big or ok ok as I am 3 inch taller

Best option imo will be to try it out in a decathlon store if possible. I am no expert here but I do think you should be fine with either size. Based on my tiny experience, I think L might suit you better. Can’t be sure though.

The biggest problem is there is no decathlon store on Delhi. Though i am 50% sure l would be fine for me. As I am in between sizes

There is one in Noida I think. You can try it out at my place (model town North delhi) if you are serious about buying the bike and just confused about the size. I’m available until 12 pm on weekdays or anytime on sundays. This way we both get what we want. Just give me a heads up if you are interested.

I’m having issues in assembling the bike..The seat is not going inside the hole and also pls tell how to fix the handle screw??

use a normal L allen key for the handle. I faced the same issue, went to a bike mech and got the L key and fixed it. same with pedals too, didn’t have the correct spanner so went out with it happy with what I got.
im not sure with the seat though, it was smooth for me. may be the below clamp is bit tight.. try loosening it bit more. but do not remove it since it ight be diffifult for u to put the clamp back in place.
Look at the reviews here
http://www.snapdeal.com/product/hero-dtb-with-d....
Also one review said that only tyre, seat and front handle need to be assembled, pretty much like btwin. you can open the package and see and decide to take to mechanic or assemble yourself
