Using it for more than 1 year. No issue. Also have android app to hv control from smartphone.

Yes have all features of 8231 model. Only difference is in max download speed. That too 14.2 mbps is more than sufficient as in India u won’t get more than 10 mbps.

Problem with PAYTM is cashback. So it will be a vicious circle that you have to buy again to use the cashback. for me it is more problematic as I dont have a DTH plus no prepaid mobile connection……

You can always use that cashback to recharge your number, DTH or pay bill if you don’t wanna buy again..

This iball one has SOFT wifi and the huawei one has HARD wifi. That is a major difference if you know what I am saying. Further huawei datacards are the best, my personal experience.

I don’t think so.. Further there is no link between the speed and the network bands it supports.. Would suggest you to go by the reviews of E8221 in flipkart about the datacard before buying E8231..

Right abt every point. Plus with Huawei u get to use MDMA. If u know how its a pretty nice feature to hv. Although I am not sure whether it works with the newer gen that present themselves as USB Ethernet modems. Can anyone buying this plz confirm whether MDMA works with this or not? I don’t think with the newer huawei datacards you can use MDMA, but one can download there app from playstore which gives the options to see& block the devices connected, send and receive the sms and other options. And more features may be add in subsequent versions of the app.
