Any balance amount left on the used gift card can be reused within the validity period.

But on top at payment mode page I get a promotional balance of 250 to apply even without applying any code . Then try to order something else, If you are able to see the same promotional balance in payment page for any other product,
Then this “250rs” is your amazon credits…

if you are not able to see then this promotion is for only this gift card, And i am very sure you will not able to see…
actually you are getting the promotional balance because you’ve already applied the coupon “TRAVLEGC” in payment page once so you no need to apply it again, it will automatically shows you as promotional balance…
So all i want to say is, that is not any amazon credits its promotional balance (aka coupon balance)

Yes that is the discount.Once you apply the code it gets converted to promotional balance of 250.You should get 250 off in the payment page.

Bro, you are in luck as I know when this happens.

Basically, at some point in the past, you likely applied the “TRAVELGC” code on the card selection page (at the bottom). And then you probably didn’t complete the transaction. When you do that, Amazon keeps the promotional code saved in your account and automatically applies it to the eligible orders later on. In all likelihood, that’s what is happening. On Amazon, coupon code = promotional balance. Hope it’s all clear now. CC @Tejaa

Edit at 10:16am: Moreover, just so you are clear, you can not pay for the e-gift cards via your Amazon.in GC balance so the “promotional balance” is in no way connected to any cashback you might have received.
