For anyone looking for a gaming laptop THIS IS NOT A GOOD DEAL
or should I say it is good deal for this specific model BUT it’s not if you are looking for a gaming laptop

First of all – Yes it is a 6th gen i7 processor BUT it is an ultra one [i7-6500U] i.e it has ONLY 2 CORES NOT 4 CORES. When you want a gaming laptop and are ready to shell out more than 50k than you need to have 4 cores

Secondly – The GPU (or simply graphics card) is VERY BAD for a gaming laptop at this price range. Seriously it is even weaker than the old GT 430.

And finally – some might say that the video memory is 4gb which is awesome and so on BUT here is the thing – Video memory doesn’t matter if you don’t have a strong gpu. 4GB memory is very good but it starts getting practical when GPU in question is something like a GTX 960.
This is done by almost every company to attract customers (and obviously fool them) who do not know much about this stuff.

i was shocked after seeing this laptop with 6th gen i7 and 16GB ram but after checking complete specs I am a happy owner of hp ak007tx. With full HD matt screen and 950M GPU this is no brainer. Upgrading display panel to FHD would be costly affair and also GPU cant be upgraded. So i would highly recommend hp.

HP ak007tx sold by garg has 2 year domestic (valid in thailand) and 1 yr global warranty (at least for piece i bought). Confirmed from hp customer service which was way more helpful that i would have expected. They kept on following with me for solving my issues like upgrading bios and GPU drivers etc. Also cleared my some other doubts with patience. It felt that they are seriously and sencerely wanted me to be content with service i am getting. Never had such a good repo with any service for a long time. Hope physical hp service stations treat their customers same.

Sorry about that. I am pretty sure it used to be Manufacturer warranty, but I guess they have changed it.

I know it is now 7k more, but considering it is 6th gen instead of a 4th along with some other upgrades, the increase in price is justified.
