a mobile screen guard which should cost 25 bucks in whole sale is sold for Rs. 60 in retail shops is sold on ebay for 60 + 50 shipping charge.

So after 25% discount there is no savings.

I literally have stopped buying from ebay because items with free shipping are actually not free because seller sits in some remote place.

Ya, I too observed that.
Almost all listings with free shipping items showing ‘Withing Seller City’, and some products I want to order has shipping charges of Rs 85, 95 etc… No savings on 150 off 250 as well..

@dharamanath ..actually the products you are taking about are listed by the sellers with the assumption that such products are bought by buyers only by using 50, 75 or 100 off coupons, and they are quite right, though there won’t be many takers for such listings without availability of such coupons ..this 25% off coupon is not meant for such products, but quite useful for products in the price range of 1000-8000. In fact the minimum purchase required for using this coupon is also 999

you need to step out of your chair and ask your friends offline where would I get cheaper screen guards in your city. Its vaild for a lot of products. Thats why I always have been suggesting eyes on the ground to compare offline prices.

You will be astonished to find the price difference.

Today while returning from a meeting stopped at Vaishnavi Mobile Shoppe near Ravivar Peth Pune.

bought a Micromax A35 screen guard for Rs. 25 and needed another one for A27 for my wife’s phone so had to walk about 50 meters and buy it from a retailer for Rs. 60 who was ready to offer met 2 for Rs. 100 but I refused. ( the bolt series is out of production so new stock is not coming)

plz check these Ninja /bold series screen guards on ebay and see the difference. I am talking about the well packaged ones who claim to be of original quality. I don’t use the cheaper variety.

only speed post is good but that too depends on the distance covered. the shipping charges can cost a bomb to any seller is not on power shipping facility of ebay
