Bought one SBA1710 reason for choice?
1. Has built in amplifier( not there on those bomb shaped ones)
2. Runs on AA battery(AAA for other flat model) AA comes with more recharge capacity mah values then AAA, also less expensive then AAA
3. You posted the deal and I don’t know what else todo rather buy cheap now then regret not buying later
4. Had pay zippy 150coupouns that I got during launch
5. I am DD addict

Received my sba1710 speakers

Short review:
Build quality is amazing, Packing Box is nice and works as better gift to like minded folks.
Battery compartment is a bit crampy, u need to push the batteries a bit. Cable length is not long to add this to any external devices like tv’s, though works for all kind of phones kept in any directions. It’s a nice cute phone stand as well.

Sound quality is ok. A bit cranky at highs. It’s pretty loud as well, sturdy stand, phone won’t fall off for sure

Edit: no cranks up at full volume now! Learnt that my iPhone has an options under settings>music>sound check which needs to be on for performance

someone who has received Philips SBA3010, please review it for use as laptop speaker

extremely fragile cable.probably the slimmest cable I have ever seen.
it has got a good sound output . using it along with bluetooth adpater (separately bought)through pc and phone.
it is very small. take a tennis ball and make a spherical structure out of it, probably that big. outside is rubber so provides a better grip.
I was going to buy the grenade one but since I already had the bluetooth adapter so didn’t want to waste money over it .
