By the same token, isn’t a 55% discount on Puma (which is a part of today’s Flipkart DOTD) a good enough deal?

First of all I do not have any hidden motive/ agenda as I had grown beyond Karma & Dimes. Is DD has become fastest fingers first ? Of course it is evident from your standard posts. I am even not discouraging you as I mentioned earlier that please post deals which stand out and not just cut-copy-paste. It is really irritating to see what you post, the same can be easily found out on the flipkart single link of deals of the day..

Every day, we see post on Flipkart Deals of the Day and got FPD. It leads all of us wonder whether people put up votes for Flipkart DOD always.

You think DD isn’t a place for fastest finger first? You’re sadly mistaken, my friend
Take a look at all the people who try posting the PayTM recharge offers, Mobikwik recharge offers, Redbus offers, etc.
In every case it becomes an FPD (nothing wrong in the fact that it becomes an FPD)
The point that I’m trying to make is that today, many of deals on the front page are a question of fastest finger first. There’s nothing wrong in that and I can’t imagine why you have a problem with it
BTW, if I stop to evaluate and find a good deal (BTW, there very often are good deals) when they’re released at 12, I’ll find that at least 3 people have already posted it on DD. Many people (I know of at least 3-4 such people but don’t have the time to search for their exact names: __, CP, srocks, Vikas G – who is busy nowadays – & others) are just 1-2 seconds slower (and sometimes they’re even much faster than me) at posting the Flipkart DOTD

I agreed. I already expressed my views also. Hidden deals which may yield better savings should be promoted. Simple deals which can be found on front page and everyone can find out easily doesn’t help much. I also wonder sometimes for getting these deals FPD in no time. Sometime offers are good. But not everyday. Still some regular senior dimmers vote it up. (P.S. I don’t have any agenda against you as I don’t know you…Just an observation)

It’s because there were very good deals on those days. The gap between days should be sufficient to tell you that not every Flipkart DOTD makes it to the front page. In fact, most don’t

I’m not the only one with a speciality. Take a look at the most of the people on the FPD leaderboard. Everyone tends to specialise in a certain type of deal
Plus, I don’t have much time nowadays. Looking after a 4 year old who has lots of homework keeps me very busy. So the other deals (with lots of price comparisons) kind of take a backseat
