Don’t buy it. I purchased it two years back. Didn’t last for 4 months as the burners are of extremely low quality and they melted. The automatic ignition feature would fail within a month. Same product is available under different names sounding like genuine brands but all are Chinese.

someone mentioned in other thread that none of glasstop burners are isi certified. i think isi will be much better

Yes.. They melted and amalgated into some big piece of metal.. They surely were not brass.. . Worst is that when I went to market to replace the burners, it turned out they are non standard size and were not available anywhere . And hence ended up selling it for 300 rs. I would suggest always buy a reputed gas stove as it is a matter of safety.

I don’t know about Surya but I bought the same type of above model. Its working fine for 2.5 years till now. No problem with auto ignition, burner. There are many brands but all are chinese – imported (Hongkong). Quality is more better than our Indian Prestige. I have bought Prestige 4 burner before 3 years with auto-ignition for Rs. 7,000/- and its one of my worst experience. The burners are made of worst quality, burners are not covered under warranty. So there is no other go we have to again buy from Prestige, which is very expensive but of very poor quality, service cost is also very high. Instead of changing burners, I bought the 3 burner auto-ignition stove for same price. Finally the Prestige is of no use, now its used with local burner (in which auto-ignition not possible as the side holes in burner will not be there in local burners). So don’t fuss a lot, to my experience, you can definitely go for these chinese brands, check the review of the seller and product. Ask the seller to pack it more securely, thats it, you can definitely go for it. Worth the risk for the price.
