Received. Hearing them right now.
Being more of an EDM listener, not exactly wowed by these. I think the M50X would have been better for me. Looks like they need some burning in. These are flat and a tad bit warm sounding to me. I don’t call myself an audiophile so ymmv.

For all those who have bought, month of import = Oct 2015. These are not old stock, but I guess specially stocked for Black Friday

It appears, these are requested by amazon and made for amazon by Sennheiser due to overwhelmig sales during 2014( old 598 model). They were sold on amazon.com for $99 last year.

Listen via amp, you will hear large difference.

if you love Edm and hip-hop you wont be vowed by these cans but these are surely great cans with superb soundstage and the flat response is very important to keep every frequency balanced to keep the musicality of sound track. my 95 gb of flac collection is ready. cant wait

The sound and comfort are excellent. Keep in mind that they’re an open set (no isolation at all) and not very well suited to being used while walking/traveling/etc, but if you’re okay with that then this is an incredibly good deal.

@all These are open back headphones, meant for recording studios and indoor use. To get the best of this beast you need good a device which has a good sound output or else you will have to use an amplifier.

One other good option is to root your device and use this app.. you will be stunned!! even your regular Rs 500 IEMs will sound great.

The sound and comfort are excellent. Keep in mind that they’re an open set (no isolation at all) and not very well suited to being used while walking/traveling/etc, but if you’re okay with that then this is an incredibly good deal.

I have better headphones than these but since this was too good a deal to miss I bought one. Open headphones sound better than closed ones.

As I have mentioned before if it is sold by ‘couldtail’ then it’s covered by ‘replacement’ warranty only. That means you you can send them to one of the four centers mentioned on the official page to get a replacement. You will have to bear the courier charges whatever that may be.

There is no substitute for good source. If you are going to listen to Mp3 expensive headphones make little sense. The player or DAC and then an amplifier (in that order) is of prime importance for good audio. I have two DACs based on Sabre 9018 and Sabre 9023, amp is an not necessary equipment but those DACs are highly recommended. The sound from those DACs is something I never heard from any Android phone ever.

I already own U2 (bought a year back) and found it much better than sound card of my laptops.

Currently I mostly use Audioquest Dragonfly II and it sounds better than U2.

@thrifty_indian bro, as these are open cans, these should only be used when there is no noise nearby. these cant be used while travelling/walking… basically outdoor and there shouldn’t be any noise nearby… pls correct me if im wrong…

Yes they leak too much sound and you would hear the noise from outside too. And not to forget these are not at all portable.

I Bought this Headphone with lot of expecting but seeing your comments above i think this one sounds like garbage compared to my already owned 1k rupees Sennheiser PX 80. I did big big mistake should invested 2k more to buy the Godof headphone ATH M50X:-(

Who are you talking to? And what are you talk about? Who said these headphones are garbage? These are 100x better than you Px. But it depends upon what you want, do you want a clean and open sound with low bass? Then these are awesome. If you listen to those electronic/bass/Hip-hop etc then look at M50. Both are apples and oranges.

Will i get bass like sennheiser px 80 at least. I have Viper4android with super audio quality enabled PX 80 doing awesome with that setup. I fear there will be a slight difference only between PX 80 and Hd 598. I have Fiio E07k amp connected also. And the big problem now is i cannot trade off with little extra money for 8k in OLX considering mrp 19k no one showing interest to buy. Few quoting for only 5k or 6k not more than that. I think this is not popular headphones or failure model. That’s why we got cheaper. Even those who already received this headphone didn’t left any WOW comments of sound quality all drawbacks only. But i researched ATH M50x super ratings and reviews everywhere. That headphone is only 2k difference in amazon.
