Most of the times Snapdeal offers 10% on Auto Accessories….this time 15%…
Voted up and Suggested for the efforts Bro…
VU for the price.
However, there will be additional fitment + wheel alignment/balancing charges of approx. 300/- per tyre.
VU&S….:-}
Tyres have shelf life. The rubber becomes hard even if lying unused so ensure to see manufacturing date on tyres which you can’t until you receive them. So don’t buy online. typically tyre life is 50km/5yr whichever comes first even if they are packed.
I agree with the previous dimer, it’s very important to know the manufacturing dates on tyres. Unused tires become hard and they are not ideal,I have requested snapdeal to contact the seller and let us know the manufacturing date, will keep you posted if I hear back from them

You are correct bout the shelf life of tyre rubber.. however the price is highly lucrative as I have to change the tyres of my car ( 45K KM)..
Is there any method to contact the seller on sanpdeal, so that the manufacturing date of the tyre can be known before placing order…
But since its snapdeal, I have a lot of doubts as many times they have sent old products..
I checked with a local dealer and the price difference on Michelin XM2 14" was only 2000. You need to factor in the cost for replacing the tires and the mouth which will reduce the difference by 600 to 800. Plus you need to factor in warranty / support. In my opinion for a saving of 1000 and odd it may not be a wise option to purchase it online for peace of mind I would recommend your local tyre store

Hmmm.. let me recheck the tyre price and installation / alignment/ balancing price from local vendor..
Any updates regarding comparision from local dealers? I am planning to buy and would like to know opinion on fellow dimers.
Today we changed tyres of our car…
We compared Snapdeal prices with 3 local dealers(PUNE)- for Bridgestone and Apollo…
The price was lesser than deal even after including labour charges.
Probably dealing with multiple local dealers also helped us to get better quote, but initial quote was also competitive!

Cool, could you provide the tire size model of Bridgestone that you purchased and the price, it will help me to negotiate the price with a dealer over here. Also what was the manufacturing date of the tyre.
ok
dont know why you bumped this thread..
but happened to buy a tyre today from SD.. not much discount though.
I bought the tyres in last oct from besttyredeals. Mfg was sept 2013 .. its was much lower then local shop. 4 Michelin 185/65 tyre cost 16.5k + chage cost 200 + nozzel 300 + wheel balancing alignment 400 – old tyre 1000 = got 100 rs back. Same shopkeeper was selling for 4800 each including everything he was surprise to kno the price i got .. i last i saved 3k in total approx ..
