DIMERS, PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS WEBSITE !!!

I made the serious mistake of ordering a KITCHEN KNIFE SET from them, which I received today. IT IS THE MOST TERRIBLE/HORRIBLE QUALITY.

THE BOARD IS MADE OF THIN BLACK RUBBER!
THE KNIVES ARE MADE OF THIN STEEL WHICH BEND WHEN YOU TRY TO CUT SOMETHING! (I SAY TRY TO CUT, BECAUSE CUTTING SOMETHING IS VERY DIFFICULT WITH THESE SO CALLED KNIVES)

the knives are Chinese made…… but the lowest quality Chinese made stuff !!!

NOW FOR THE FUN PART:

I called up the customer service and spoke to a guy called Mr Mukesh. He says that I can easily return the stuff, but since Shopping Mantra does not have a reverse pick-up system in place, I will have to pay for the courier and send the goods myself….. after which the website will return only my initial payment into my account. COURIER CHARGES TO BE BORNE ONLY BY THE CUSTOMER!!

THE WEBSITE SEEMS TO HAVE A BASIC POLICY……. WE SELL YOU TRASH AT CHEAP PRICES, WHICH YOU CANNOT RETURN, BECAUSE THE COST OF RETURN…… WILL BE THE COST OF THE PRODUCT!!! HA! HA! HA!

This person is doing this intentionally, previously also he ordered one Digital Weight machine and just given us a call that he got a totally damaged product, we addressed his complaint immediately and sent him a new product at our cost. He was very happy with our support
This time also he repeated same thing and even after knowing that he had opened the seal of product and used is, we offered a refund which is against our return policy but he was not ready to send the product back.
He started threatening us that if we don’t collect the product from his place and refund the amount he will give us negative feedback on DesiDime, he also added that he will regularly keep posting against us
“Aaj se Mai Aap kii company ke peechhe pad jaaunga aur aapko majboor kar dunga mujhe phone kar ke maphi mangne ke liye”.
As per our return policy we requested this person to send the product back but he was not ready for that
We always honor our customers and understand their feelings and we give them treatments by going beyond our standard policies but there are some peoples who are making a habit of getting bonus.

Seriously! shoppingmantra (if u really are the official face of shoppingmantra.com on desidime ), even if this person is doing it intentionally, u should not come to this level of cross-commenting. You need to be more professional and handle things at Customer Care level. Not on Desidime. For sure!

that posting is actually being done by Shoppingmantra.com, the website.

They for some reason are failing to see through my crystal clear intention, which is simple

1. To share my stupidity in trusting the website and buying from them (through an advance payment)
2. To ensure that my Dimer brothers are warned about dealing with this website, which seems to be a very unprofessional operation.
3. To do my best to see that no other Dimer suffers my fate.

My post, narrative and intention should be crystal clear.

I totally agree with magus. I also had the same bitter experience with them. They are the worst online sellers I ever have seen in my life. Just stay away from them

shopping mantra is worst site to buy anything, they might put a good picture of product but the item will be off cheap quality. never ever buy from them. I am saying it with my experience.
