+1 to that. I received this model yesterday with the TV panel broken. DTDC was the shipper. To add insult to injury the price has fallen by a 1000 bucks between the time i placed the order and the time it was delivered at my doorstep.

And yes Electronic shoppe was the seller!

Ask them to pick it up back on their own and initiate a refund. You can always get a better price later even if you can’t place a fresh order now. Just a suggestion.

BTW, did they not agree with the courier of your choice? Which courier you asked for?

Thanks for the suggestion. If cancellation is an option, i will take it. I asked for Bluedart. Specifically asked to blacklist DTDC. Followed it up with repeated chats with CC (2 calls and 5 chats) to make sure they ship through Bluedart. And then they just go ahead and ship by DTDC. Guess my paranoia was not misplaced afterall !

One thing the business people today don’t understand is that goodwill is the most important thing for a business. If there develops a good relationship between the seller and the buyer, then buyer will be ready to pay even more than what he has to pay elsewhere to buy from that seller. Who gives a damn about such things today?
