btw i bought crystal mini for 32 inch led last weekEDIT :- found this too… upto 50 Inch
@SmallKing
You should go for Crystal Plus. I have it for my 42" Plasma TV.
.
Can anyone tell me which model is recommended for a 240L refrigerator?
BTW, the Godrej service engineer stressed on having a wide range stabilizer (costs 2300) for the refrigerator but the store assistant said that it’s all marketing gimmicks and a basic V Guard one will serve the purpose. What do you guys suggest?

Fine. But which model from Vguard for a 240L refrigerator? They have categorized it for TVs based on screen size but nothing like that for refrigerators.

I went through it even before. There are many generic ones listed on various sites. Even pepperfry has around 3 generic ones… VG50, VGSJW50, VGD50, 100 etc. What do they all mean?

Don’t compromise with LED TV…
I bought V-Guard Crystal Plus from Flipkart.. its really good..

Just this moron view rather than buying individual stabilizer for each electrical device at home buy a big voltage stabilizer from logicstat and get it installed with mains power supply of your home than all devices would work with power coming stable. Ignore if i sound dumb.

Long time no see, buddy.
How much would it cost, BTW?

Not contradicting your view…
Our inverter also works as voltage stabiliser when the voltage is down. Problem is – AC or fridge need better guard.

They have one upto 5 kva something with input range of 100 to 240 and output range within 200 and 240 it also comes with low and high voltage tripping. Works well. It can be around 7k-8k not sure please check.

True it does, see we have one logic stat voltage regulator and all other appliances are connected through it including 2 fridge, for AC we have separate connection and separate stabilizers.

Though it is a great idea, we should also take expenditure into account. Most of the households will have only one Refrigerator, TV and AC. You expect them to spend 8k for this when they can close it down to 5K on individual stabilizers bought together?
Good find..vuns..

I agree with you it all depends on household needs and appliances you may be running. It all depends what solves your purpose is bottom line, I personally am happy with one attached to mains because one it controls multiple appliances same time including basic things like fans, lights etc. Also it saves space inside home as having one voltage regulator with every appliance occupy space and also look ugly. Just everyone has their own comfort and liking.
Thanks.
WeYou for the price Excellent find.
OOS now
Why wasn’t this a FPD yet ?

Because this is posted by a “not-so-popular” dimer.
I Purchased the product 2 days back and there was no Taxes. Still awaiting for the delivery.
Don’t know why Pepperfry has added taxes on it now.
Surprisingly, V-Guard stabilizer is now SOLD OUT. Any chance of FPD ??
Other brands: GEESYS and Sollatek is still there. Not sure on this brand name but at the price V-guard is really a good deal.

It was sold out even when I first checked. I subscribed for a mail alert and guess what, I got an alert on availability in just 10 minutes (Meanwhile I was planning to buy the 1747 priced one.) Placed the order immediately and it was oos again. Don’t know if I got lucky last night but a V Guard Stabilizer at > 40% off is a great deal.
The fact that it is OOS now should not (ideally) affect an FPD promotion but as you can see, FPDs are only for popular dimers who belong to “groups”.
back in stock..bought one..
agn oos :-/
Received V-Guard VGSJW 50. MRP 2290. Bumper deal!

BTW, V-Guard VGSD 50 is available now.

Can some body tell me if i can use the stabilizer meant for fridge can be used for LED tvs? and why?
what specs should i focus on for LED, fridge and/or AC?

No. You cannot use a basic stabilizer for an LED TV. Though I cannot answer this question technically, I can say that it’s not recommended by any of the technicians.
And if you are planning to buy stabilizers for all your equipments at home, you could also consider our friend @aryan ’s suggestion here: http://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online...
