VU & S
You can get the hard disk from ishopinternational for 6700 only.
Request a quote from them and ask for first time user discount. Bug them on chat to generate quote as soon as possible.
Use this method at your own risk because if ishop guys cause delay in processing the order, hard disk will go oos. Then you will be left with nothing
Nice find and VU.

it cant be 2tb. btw who will pay for custom here as 105 roughly translates to 6k
Yup it is..2TB
I paid using Amex Card. I used it for first time to make $ payment. Waiting to see their exchange rate.

The price 7318 includes customs and shipping cost. Amazon exchange rate is quite high, it doesn’t fluctuate with change in dollar price and remains on higher side only.
There is some possibility of cash back (about 100 Rs) from amazon from Import taxes collected
They are charging about 840 Rs in advance for import taxes, their partners in India will pay for customs and report them the accurate custom price. If there is difference then we get cash back within 60 days
840 is high by my calculations, i will have a chat later with amazon about cashback

Cool
did you get discount coz of amex card or it was showing 79$ instead of 105
its showing 127$ after adding in cart…

it is 105 only for me. Checked just now
Edit: This generally happens when product is going to get oos. Then the same product from other sellers gets added to cart. Maybe that happened to you, since it went oos afterwards
Adorama having same for $95

he is talking about total price as for amex cards it shows in dollars as amex will do the conversion not amazon so final price is 127 including shipping &custom
Found this listing on ebay. I don’t know if it is a fraud or a genuine listing.
Can somebody explain it?
2Tb for 109.99 with free shiping
http://www.ebay.com/itm/WD-2-5-My-Passport-USB3...
Couple of points: Seller location is Canada, item ships from China and seller seems to be an Indian
Also listing heading and description states 2 Tb, while 1 Tb is also written but seller says it is automatically filled by Ebay
If this turns out to be a genuine listing, then it will be the cheapest till now
Can we take the risk?

Yup, seems so. I got reply from two of his recent buyers and they told that seller took money and then refunded it the next day. I wonder what he will gain by doing so
Got it last night itself. Was about to post it…..
