Any experience with Craftsvilla !

Craftsvilla is generally very prompt and cc good.

Minus points-
Recently I purchased a saree from them. The product description was Chiffon saree however the product received was cotton. They arranged for reverse pickup.
The problem is that they are saying they will not refund the money and issue a voucher and that too valid for a month. I convinced them to refund the money in my bank a/c and gave them the number. In principle they agreed but it has been 10 days since the product was received by them and no refund has yet come.

craftsvilla has been 1 of the best sites for me so far with excellent customer support.

Normally they ship the goods in 3-4 days max but in case order is placed using coupons from
some other deal sites , I guess they take longer. Recently my order was shipped in approx 1 week
when I used a discount coupon purchased from other site.

why is the site showing always the same message “Come back in 15 min to see the new Craftvilla Store!”… when it was down from past 15 hours almost…

can’t they keep an average expected time to complete their work……. thats really unprofessional…..!!

Mraj, its working. It was down on Sunday the entire day. However I’ve placed an order day before yesterday. It is still showing “Processing” though. Hope they ship it soon! Thanks.

Craftsvilla has generally been very prompt in shipping. All my orders except the last one was shipping within a day. The last one took somewhat longer – 3-4 days. However, their website is in a mess – my status was still showing as processing when I received the order.

Overall, I think it is definitely one of the good places to shop at.

Craftsvilla took a lot of time to dispatch my stuff. and they never updated the order status. for first 4-5 days status did not change. After i called, it was updated to order under process. I called again and was told that some of the items in my order went out of stock and it will be dispatched in a day. Again it was after 2 days that they dispatched. But to their credit, packing was thorough considering the fragile kind of stuff that was ordered. And the product quality is definitely very good. the women in my house loved the stuff when it arrived. despite the transaction hassles, i would still shop with them. just the pricing is on a higher side. but overall i would say they sell quality stuff..

the stuff from craftsvilla is really awesome, no doubt… they usually ship in 0-1 days… there must hav been a delay becos ur items were not in stock

I am always a big fan of them. Just received 1 big order today. All items in excellent condition.
It took 1 week to receive the order but it’s very much understandable as I had many many items in my
order and also under 70% off coupon discount.

There products are great for gifting purpose as well.
Will be placing 1 more order today or tomorrow.

Agree. no doubts on their product quality.

Recieved an email from craftsvilla stating that my payment of approx. Rs. 2500 has been accidently refunded to my Credit card…:-P
They r now asking me to deposit the money in their bank a/c.

Craftsvilla is nice, no doubt. But, talk about fake reveiws!!! Dimers will easily be able to pick the fakes above from the rest I am sure.

there is no doubt that above 2 aainakhan and neha_rocks82805 are here on DD just to post
there fake/madeup/2 liners about craftsvilla.
And my guess is that both are same persons.

But they are not from craftsvilla for sure.
Craftsvilla offers some free vouchers to persons who will write on blogs/forums about there site.
That is the reason we can find such fake posts/reviews on desidime as well. This person must be having
two accounts on facebook and came here just to make 2 separate posts with 2 different id’s about them to avail 2 gift vouchers.

@aaina / neha……..DD is a place for genuine reviews and not a place for spamming. If you really purchased with them , write more detailed review with specific item details , price you paid , variety of items they have , how you found there price perfect value for money ? , have you checked the item prices at other sites , why shall people buy with them , etc. Pics of the item will be also appreciated Please do not come here to spam just to get vouchers with them. I am sure craftsvilla also doesn’t want such spamming and being there long time regular customer , I will bring this to there knowledge and not entertain such spamming by giving free vouchers.

Good customer service but ya not explorable website.

Products they deliver are genuine and are in very good quality. I already ordered a set of products and received them in 5-6days of order. Just be patient they deliver promptly.
