Hitachi 1.5 ton RAU517ISD 5 star iClean Model Review

Hello Dimers,

Its hawt out and we all are looking for super cool ac’s these days and Hitachi is such brand in AC which comes in mind first.

I took Hitachi 1.5 ton RAU517ISD 5 star iClean Model from Indiatimes.com(they were running 10% flat off using ACOFFER coupon code). Got it delivered on 3rd day.

but story took u turn when after two days of installation, AC stopped working. I registered complaint, next day service guy from Hitachi came.
He saw my AC, and said who advised to buy this model. This is the worst model that Hitachi has ever made and after every 15 days u’ll call for service because filters brush is going to block everytime its autoclean feature is going to run. I was shocked and felt like wasted my 40k.

see this model has a auto clean feature in which AC autocleans its filter and you need not to do this manually. They have provided steel filter in this and brush that cleans is but according to that mechanic whoever has bought this is facing the same problem and company is also going to discontinue this NEW model.

SO my two cents for dimers if you are going for this model then think thrice. Its a complete NO from my side.
