Homeshop18 Reviews?

homeshop18 is ok but they are just the type of a middle man. They do not stock the goods and ship them out. Instead they have a tie up with plenty of sellers and goods will be shipped directly by the vendor.

I do not have much experience with them except mainly buying gift vouchers ( which all went smoothly as shipper was giftcardsindia ) . But my recent purchase for other items ( G.one lunch box and G.one pencil box ) was not good as vendor ( Red Chillies Entertainment Private Limited ) shipped damaged items which were sent back to the vendor by me after I made a complaint. 30 days have been already passed from the date I placed my order and just today I came to know that HS18 is sending my refund now instead of re shipping the items which will come within 96 hours.
If I was in your place , I will avoid buying WM with them.
But HS18 has many vendors ( many are good as well ) and not very sure about the vendor who will be shipping out the WM. Wait to see posts of anyone having more experience about it.

Forgot to mention that I also purchased 2 G.one sippers in the same order. Vendor shipped only 1 but in the invoice mentioned two. After my complain , I received the other sipper after a wait of 10 days.

I consider HS18 one of the best online sites. Have had number of transactions, no problem so far. Recently ordered a microwave and it was delivered within 2 days.

I’ve had 1 experience with HS18, shopped an FPD on SDHC 32GB 10.
Delivered within 4 days. Shipped through Bluedart, packing was ok.
Still to use the product though!

I have purchased multiple times including mobiles, books, T shirts , shoes etc from HomeShop and the experience has been good other than a set of cutlery set which was brittle. I compalined to the customer care and they refunded me the money. They have few of the best deals online. the only caveat is that you wont get in 24 hours like fk but will get in 3 days. I am OK with that if I have to pay at least 20% less. You should go ahead a nd buy

I also purchased so many items from HS18. Only two times i had problems. One i got a merely Rs 40 worth wallet for Rs 150 purchase. Second time i have got problem with the pigeon stainless steel pressure cooker. They promised the replacement as i have sent back the item. I am waiting for my courier reimbursement and replacement of item . Will update you guys the experience.

I shopped with them 3 times and never had any issue.

One of two items bought thru them was substandard. However, they refunded the amount and didn’t even ask for it to be sent back to them. However, they did not publish my review of the product on their site! Only one positive review shows for that item, which obviously looks like self promotion. I kinda bought it based on that review what I got was nothing like what was mentioned in the review. You can draw your own conclusions…

Just wanted to update on above post.

HS18 refunded my amount but later received the items as well
I sent support ticket to inform the same but no clear reply received.
From what I understand from there reply is that I can keep the products as well.
and also come to realize that Red Chillies Entertainment Private Limited is
Shahrukh Khan’s company

I also made some more orders with hs18 for FIFA children T shirts and they were received fast
and good quality at reasonable price.

Finally i got my product replaced. I have got the reimbursement for senting back the product to the vendor of Homeshop18 as cheque.

i once had issue..purchased a pen drive..rceived a used one.complained.arranged for reverse pick up by tnt..waited for 20 days but no response..raised ticket..got call ..was informed that i was supposed to inform hs18 with docket no. of reverse pick..provided them immeditaely on call..was asked to wait for 7 days.received fresh product within 3-4 days..

rest all my 30-40 orders were good ..

I’ve placed an order of Godrej Washing Machine worth Rs. 19175 from Homeshop18.com with order #918242955 on 30th Oct, 2012. Delivery time for the order was 14-15 days, I waited for that time, but I didn’t get my order delivered within that time.

So, I started asking them about my order status, their CC was totally clueless about the status of my order, they didn’t know when it was going to be shipped. I talked to their supervisor, who promised me that I will get my order shipped on within 2-3 days and I would be receiving it on 19th Nov, 2012 or 20th Nov, 2012 by latest. I was very satisfied by his reply, and decided to wait till that time.

19th Nov, 2012 passed, not received my order, waited for the next day, didn’t receive on that day too. Called their CC, they said they can not deliver it today (20th Nov), then I decided to wrote on their Facebook Wall, at my surprise, they were responding to other members queries on their FB page but they just ignored mine, being furious on that I started asking them repeatedly, but no response to my query, it was mental trauma given by Homeshop18, I decided not to shop anything from them in future whether they deliver my order to me or not.

At last, they only replied to my query on their FB wall saying “We’re sorry to inform you that your order has been cancelled and your money would be refunded to your bank account”

A customer pays Rs. 19175 in advanced, waits for his order to get delivered, you don’t deliver it in time and furthermore when he asks for the status of his order you just ignore him?? How mean is that??

I suggest everyone to avoid Homeshop18 for costly items, they will just keep money with them for 20+ days and at last they would cancel your order.

I wouldn’t ever shop with them…!!
