Hi Guys,

I’m planning to make a buy worth Rs. 25k from Timtara, This would be my first purchase from them so bit scared if they really are trustworthy.

I’ve had good experiences with letsbuy and tradus and taggle as well… Please give ur reviews guys on Timtara.

veryyyyy late delivery considering their promising periods…. but products from them i received till now are authentic

It doesn’t matter whether you can wait bcoz if you buy from them you HAVE to wait
I purchased an item on 13/12/2011 and they have told me that I will receive it next Tuesday which is 27/12/2011
But they never promised me that I will receive it quickly. It was clearly written Delivery in 8-10 Working Days.
The key word over here is WORKING
Can comment on Authenticity only after receiving the product. But they look Genuine.

For items with high value like Rs. 25 K, it would be better to stick to Flipkart even if no discounts are available. Timtara takes a long time and one gets frustrated by calling up their CC after some time. Worry is also another thing as COD is not available and you would have to prepay this amount at the start. I personally will never shop with these guys for high value items.

Agree with Jackal here. Timtara was cool place to gamble when those 500/600 off on 1000/1500 type promotion were on. Making a big ticket purchase here, you will eventually run out of your patience as they tend to ship at snail’s pace.
Try Flipkart/Infibeam or Letsbuy for better experience.

^^^You can’t compare Letsbuy with Flipkart or even with Infibeam! Buying from Letsbuy makes no sense at all unless they offer at least 10% less.

Personally, have bought 1 item from Timtara, and it was genuine, very new stock and very nicely packed. Received in a week. But you don’t always get lucky. And not that customer care was bad, it was simply non-existent. Nobody bothered to take calls. Had to pay Octroi… and that kills the discount to an extent.
