Huawei Honor 6 Review

Hi all

I am using Htc Sensation for 2 years and after finally fed up with that mobile tried the chinese honor 6.
I have bought Honor 6 and received it a day back. This is a short review from me about the mobile.

Display : First thing that comes to your mind when you switch on the phone is the display, 1080P full HD display kills it. you feel aww for the clarity it provides.

Performance: Given 3gb ram its bound to perform smoothly and it does what it says.I have installed like 30 apps so far and there are bunch of apps , although it consumes close 1.2 to 1.5 gb ram, phone does not lag even a bit.

Camera: When light is there , the photos are super duper but even then because of full HD display it provides when we see the picture in this phone it looks awesome. but i transferred the same pic to another mobile and the clarity/quality is not the same.

Battery : I took this mobile because of battery and ram but the battery does not last too long. FHD consumes lot of power and its lasting just about a day or so with Minimal Usage, But for daily usage with couple of hours on 3G , I think it will last a day when managed properly.

UI: Although the UI is customized a lot, u will love it . It has many options / settings like power saving mode (in this mode all the apps are hidden and only black screen is shown for dialing calls and messaging. 10-15% battery life in this mode can last 4-5 hrs when we are short of battery ) and the touch is also super smooth

Pros:

Cons:

Camera not upto the mark.
Battery slighlty on lower side given the FHD display.
Too many unnecessary apps from Google and others which cannot be uninstalled.
No ear phones in the box.

Overall i get the feel of an iphone. If u wanted to buy an iphone like one but do not like the restrictions Ios provides this is a good phone for you, Build, Touch and Display will just make it feel like one
