BD quality is good.

I had ordered BD from FB. Firstly the discount that they show is just a gimmick. The product is priced at 649 only.

After one wash the bedsheet i ordered faded and looked 3 yrs old. I returned 2 other bedsheets I had ordered and not used. So pls be careful.

FB customer service is PATHETIC. It took me over a month to get them to pick up the bedsheets and refund the amount.

I ordered several sheets from 99labels. All but one were pathetic. Two developed huge holes in the first wash, one faded in one wash that I actually thought it was spread wrong side up! What makes it worse was I paid full amount for one cos my wife was particular about the design. Siiigh….

A few of the other stuff were okay, but many were plain bad. Most are pricey and 75Rs delivery charge in this age is really the same as scamming the customer.

Not really into 99labels.

The admin should definitely consider displaying the number of posts under the member’s name like it used to be before. That way spammers/liars/cheats could be identified without much effort.

I know you must have vowed to yourself that by now. 99liars is completely being itself here just like always, sending duplicate stuffs at a premium. Worst case, I still see people falling a prey to all of that even after so many terrible experiences they have provided for in all these years. Can’t do much about them can we?

There is a no premium at the prices they charge.
Among 80+ orders received by me , none of the stuff they shipped is duplicate.

I know you can’t do much about . But better not to misguide others by just your few
pathetic experiences where refund came in late. Had I been listening to SHIT like this ,
I would have never reaped benefits from this site. Glad I never listened to prejudiced
senior dimers and followed my instincts.

Delivery charges is like scamming the customers Another BULLSHIT. Did they forced you to buy and pay delivery charges ?? Was it hidden and known to you only after making the payment ???? How is it a SCAM ?? I purchased many things from ebay where they even charged Rs.200 as delivery charges. Were they also scamming the customer ??

@usa bro : Don’t get disheartened by others’ comments. See everywhere, there wud be both positive and negative comments, whether be it 99labels or even flipkart. The user who intends to buy from that particular site will look for genuine reviews. In this case, the reputation of the person posting the reviews matter the most. And your valuable and trustworthy comments and reviews come in handy at the moment. So, don’t let irrelevant frivolous comments from other users influence ur thoughts and actions. There r a lot of silent spectators, who wud luv to see more of ur invaluable reviews and shopping experiences.

@usa, Look at ALL my posts. Find me one where I am simply complaining or putting down some one or some site without basis. Funnily @usa, I have actually said something nice about you in one of my posts because of your good work on DD. So, dont put me down as a ‘SHIT MULTI ACCOUNT’ But, at the same time, I remember reading some not so pleasant exchanges between you and some others about 99labels. And, I found some of their replies to your views quite nasty and fake. Maybe that is why you think I too may be a fake like some of those

In fact, I am writing such a long reply only because I do respect you. And, it so happens this weekend I have some free time on my hands.

It is just a strange coincidence that one of your best buying experiences has been on 99labels. And, one of my worst has been 99labels. Actually, we cant conclude much more from what evidence we have. But, anyway, just for discussion sake let me write:

So we agree that you had a good experience with 99labels. I too have had a fantastic experience at, for example Yebhi, but I dont disagree with those who say they had terrible experiences. It happens. The relevant point is that how many talk nicely and how many badly of a site. If I had a good experience, even a fantastic experience at Yebhi and if several others hate the site, do I call all those who hate the site FRAUDS? It could be that my experience was lucky, a rare case, the general case could be that Yebhi is not that good. Or that people have different benchmarks for what is good. What is good enough for me maybe terrible for some other person. It is only when we get a large number of opinions (and hopefully we can weed out the fakes), that we can say something fairly clearly about a site.

As for my buying several sheets, you know 99labels takes 3 weeks to deliver. And, you also know that when you need something, you buy it. We needed new sheets, we bought several in a couple of weeks, before even the first was delivered. That was our mistake. I was also new to on-line buying then. The welcome voucher was a big attraction. But, once we realised the problem, we NEVER bought again from 99labels.This was over a year ago. Since then I avoid 99labels like the plague.

Your other accusation that I paid full amount for several sheets is your imagination. Read my posting properly, esp before you say nasty things and accuse others.

About buying several stuff, yes I did. It was all in one bunch, cos those days there were these welcome vouchers. I had invited some of my folks to 99labels, so there were these invitation vouchers too. So, we bought again. But, once we got the stuff and saw it was bad, we completely stopped buying. It is not true that I kept buying even AFTER I knew the stuff was bad.

About 75Rs delivery being equivalent to scamming. It is my opinion. Please dont forget, it is also the opinion of most of the people who shop online, as well as those on DD! If you think it is not a problem, I respect your feeling. I certainly am not going to call you names or say your opinion is ‘BULLSHIT’ because you prefer to pay delivery charges. As for ebay, they mark delivery charges upfront. Here it is shown in the last payment page. I dont know of many people who are thrilled to bits, or very happy, or can even control their irritation when they find this out after they have filled their shopping cart. And, you know how much time it takes sometimes to go through things and choose what you want.

Lastly, about buying things despite them being pricey. Frankly I did not know then. I was new to online shopping. In fact, honestly I was new to shopping itself. My wife or mother or someone else used to do the shopping, all in-store buying. I took the decision to go online and since it needed my credit card and my laptop, I was asked to do it. (HDFC netbanking did not work for weeks on 99labels, and I actually paid COD charge too those days cos I was not confident of using credit cards online. But, that is another story.) Now, after over a year of online shopping I think I know what are reasonable prices. It could be argued that if their stuff was top quality, the prices at 99labels are as good or as bad as elsewhere. But, the quality is what scares me. So, I still stand by my opinion, that 99labels is pricey because their quality is iffy. Even now, when I do surf the site sometimes (when they send me a discount voucher), I have found only a few things worthwhile pricewise. But, then again, it is my opinion. I wont call you a fraud or say ‘nothing seems true in your post’ just because I dont agree with you! You are free to have your opinion. And, you MUST say so freely. Because only then can independent people judge based on several opinions.

Maybe 99labels have improved, maybe you were smart to choose the right stuff, maybe I was stupid to choose the wrong stuff. I am sure, if I chose now (after several months of online shopping experience), I may not buy so many duds. But the bottom line still remains: I did get some really bad stuff from them. And, they still do have some terrible stuff on sale. (Even though they may have some good stuff too.)

And, please dont say things about others just because you are angry. Say because you have definite proof.
