Hi Dimers,
We are currently jumping on almost all the lucrative deals of Paytm..
However, I suspect a big fraud when it comes to returning our money to our bank accounts.
Recently I ordered Samsung Powerbank, through a new account, but cancelled it after reading dimer reviews that its fake.
Here begins the journey.
I instantly got a message that money is refunded to Paytm Cash and if required I can transfer the money back to bank account.
I went to the wallet section and saw the message, that you must verify your email before this.
I did that and to my shock I saw another message in the same place saying…You MUST be a member for atleast 60 days to use this service. What the hell????
By now I was convinced that I want my money back.
So I transferred this amount to my only other account which was older than 4 years.
And then logged in to my account for another surprise… “You MUST have atleast 2000 Paytm cash for transaction”.
This is way beyond the limit, I can’t get my money back for a fake product even after trying my best.
I am too afraid to add more Paytm cash to touch their limit of 2000, as I might receive some other stupid message after that.
Bye Bye PayTM, please suggest a better alternative..

Great!!!
Another reason to leave Paytm…
4% charges for our own money for their mistakes!! That makes us nothing but their puupets.

use the refund to bank option in the wallet history against the order number, no need to transfer to bank account by entering details in the transfer to bank option. payment will be refunded in the source account itself.

There was no such option in the order history. As soon as I cancelled order, the next message was that refunded successfully to wallet.

Its not there. I think they removed it to LOOT people’s money. OP has raised a good point.

then the op must have added wallet balance before making the order for sure, if he had made payment via debit card directly while making order, then he must have got the option to refund to bank.
No I paid through netbanking
Was Paytm there, 4years back??
they normaly add back cash as paytm cash. though it is not right, there’s nothing to worry about. paytm cash can be redeemed to avail multiple services
