Samsung Service Center Review

I had purchased a Samsung Micro USB charger a month earlier. And it stopped working now.

Checked with the Customer helpline and was informed that the charger had 1 year warranty and advised me to go to the nearby Samsung service center.

Experience 1: Service center Address and contact numbers given on Samsung website do not exist.

Anyway made enquiries and reached this service center.

Experience 2: It was quite a big Service center but all seats were taken and people buzzing everywhere. Ther were about 8 service desks. I got a token with number: 173. Was expecting some Display or announcement on the current Queue number, but no. There was a boy announcing the number.. and he called 61. Wanted to leave immediately, but thought of checkig out time taken for the next call. It was called 10 minutes later. Understood that my turn would definitely not come up in next 2-3 hours.

Went up to this announcement boy and asked him if the service center is relatively free any day or any specific time. He said its always like this. And that was it, just walked out of there… Since its a Rs500 charger, i would give it another try, and then give up.

Just wondering if a Samsung S3 or S4 owner encounter any issue, they would have to go through the same ordeal.

you were lucky that there were 8 service desk, my note2 usb connector in phone became faulty, i went to service center, and i was refused token stating that there is no electricity and token will only be given once electricity is back. i was shocked, waited for 1 hour to get token and another 2 hours for my turn to find out that inside the door where ever person was going on his turn only 1 engineer was sitting. and after he said we dont have the part, it will take 3 days to get the part.
