SnapDeal Referral Program fake?

but yeah there system sucks.. hard to understand to the people we referred

same for me..i referred my so called “friends” ..but never received any vouchers

Initially used to work properly but after some of them made an ugly amount of SD cash using the coupons received, snapdeal let the program continue but never gave out any benefit for the same, so as for now their referral program unfortunately comes under the textbook definition of being fake.

I have used their referral program till one month back and it worked fine for me. The fine print is that you get SD cash based on the value of purchase made by the referee (max restricted to Rs 100). That means if the referee buys a 0 Re deal thinking that will earn the person referring Rs 100, than its a dodo.

This is their clause now a days where as I was talking of the scenario that goes way back to December 2010 to about early February 2011 where the purchase was not at all necessary, all they wanted back then was to bring in as many referrals and email IDs along with a unique cell number.

^ Point noted. What I was essentially referring to is that the system still works though in a different fashion and its incorrect to call it fake!

Not exactly fake but quite complicated so as to say.

I never received any SD cash for non-zero value orders like denominations 50, 100, etc. but always got a mail that ur acc has been credited with 0 SD cash. don’t know what is their strategy.

i referred my sister and she bought something worth 300 and i got 100 in 2 days. next time i referred myself as a friend and bought a 0 deal and clean and clear black head something of 76. i again got only 76. yes it’s complicated as splash window for subscribing in start makes things more confusing but they do give referral points honestly.

I referred a friend & got around 60 bucks – purchase value. Though there were times where a referred friend didn’t show in my referrals list. He didn’t made any purchases so its fine otherwise I would have sent a mail to their CC.

I should have waited. Now the persons i referred are shown in my referral list in snapdeal account. getting sd cash for purchases is yet to be tested. But, I guess it will work as it has for some of the members here. Thanks for replies.

I dont know y do u say this. I have referred quite a few people and 3-4 times myself. I have got for almost all the time. The thing is

If u refer someone and within 7days they make a purchase – say for about 200 or 500 (using the 100 of coupon) U ll get 100rs as SD cash the next day. Now if u refer someone and they buy for 20-30 or say 70rs they ll credit u 20 or 30 or 70rs respectively. I wont call them as fake as the system has worked every time for me. The only problem in it is that the system updates ur points only the next day.

So all those who have referred someone and have got 0sd cash, it must be cos ur friend might have brought the 0rs deal. ( A few of my friends have brought them too and i have got 0sd cash for it as well)…..

it worked for me , when my friend had purchased during durex offer i gt 1 rupee sd cash
