Not able to make FPD suggestions. Admin look into this issue

Hi achilles,

Can you please provide us with the link to the deal you were trying to suggest but could not do.

We are updating system due to which random error message is displayed sometimes while suggesting a deal and also there are few other issues which we are fixing up and hope all issues would be resolved soon

PS: Also suggest you to check if your suggestion has been already recorded despite the error msg.

I already checked before posting here that the suggestion dint get recorded even after the error message. This is happening with me alone I guess, today i.e., 13-04-2012 I dint made any suggestions so 3 suggestions not exceeded and the 50 posts thing is ruled out in my case.

Please look into this and let me know for any updates

BTW did you try suggesting any other deal? Just suggest this thread for a quick check.

Tried to suggest my own post here and it says Sorry, you cannot suggest your own deal for FP. If its good, others will. Dont worry and you can see my name is not visible. In other cases even when they suggest their own deal the name will appear even though the error message appears

Edit: And yes the self suggestion thing is in our fixing list (anyways it is of no help to the OP still).

Tried suggesting this thread to test – http://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online… with no success still the same error message is coming as shown in my main post in this topic

Here are somethings that you may try in the meanwhile:
1. Log off. Clear off all your cache and cookies. Log in again and check.
2. Ensure javascript is enabled in the browser. If enabled, disable and enable it back again and try.
3. Try doing on a different browser.

Already did point 1 before posting this topic. Will test by doing 2 & 3

You can suggest only 3 deals every day. Yesterday, you suggested:

Admin yesterday was 12-04-2012. I posted this topic here on 13-04-2012 (at 1AM in the night). So will the DD clock not count as a day to end at 12PM midnight everyday

But the time stamps on our post when we post a topic are showing IST only. So the FPD suggestions uses a different schema? So the time zone might be different that is what you mean to say?

yess…. try to suggest now…as GMT is around 6.00 now

@mraj – Its working now – FPD Suggested By : achilles I tried it with this post only and able to suggest as per Discount Maniac this bug of suggesting one’s own topic will be addressed soon, hope they fix it soon
