Jio ₹857 Recharge Plan with Free Prime Video Subscription Launched

Jio has come up with a new ₹857 prepaid recharge plan. It is a quarterly plan bundled with Free Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition subscription. You also get access to JioCinema but it doesn’t include its Premium membership.

The Jio 857 plan comes with 84 days validity (₹285/month), 2GB/day data (168GB in all), unlimited calling, and 100 SMS/day. You will also get a Prime Video subscription (mobile) which will last till the plan expires. There is also unlimited 5G available.

For Prime Video Mobile, it is best to go for the ₹3227/year plan because it saves you ₹200 plus gets you 1 month extra validity. Thus, in all you save ₹485!

The ₹789 2GB/day quarterly plan comes with no OTT subscription (includes JioSaavn Pro). In the Jio 857 plan if we exclude Prime Video then the price comes out to ₹707 (₹150 for 3 months Prime Video Mobile). Thus, saves you ₹82 on Prime Video (₹328 yearly i.e. 50% discount!). Moreover, if you go to buy Prime Video Mobile directly then you only have the option to go for an annual subscription at ₹600.

Therefore, the Jio 857 plan is a good deal, but if you are planning to continue with the same plan throughout the year then the 3227 plan is a better deal. Jio also recently launched the JioBharat 234 Plan.
