Micromax, the Indian tech giant recently announced that it will be launching new smartphones under the ‘IN’(stands for India) series which will compete against the Chinese brands. The company’s Twitter post saying “Aao Karein Cheeni Kum” just confirms the competition. This Micromax series is likely to have two models namely, Micromax IN 1 and Micromax IN 1A. Micromax has budgeted these phones to suit the common Indian’s finances. The Micromax IN smartphones will range between Rs 7,000 to Rs 15,000.

Micromax has confirmed the launch date & time of its IN series mobiles to be 3rd November 2020, 12 PM. They have officially announced a Facebook online event for Micromax IN launch.

Micromax IN Expected Features
Micromax will reveal the entire set of features on the launch day, but we have got some rumoured ones which can be possibly true.
- The Micromax IN series smartphones are expected to come without any bloatware and adware which is great for data privacy and user friendliness respectively.
- It may have an octa-core processor with a base frequency of 2.3 GHz which is awesome in this budget.
- On the camera front, rear setup is assumed to be upto triple lens with the highest quality being 13MP while front setup may have a single 13MP lens with flash.

I think Micromax is just trying to cash in on the so called ‘anti-china’ sentiment while delivering sub par products. Would be more interesting if they would have provided better processors with better customer service. Plus their tag line ‘Aao karein cheeni kum’ is nothing but a facade. Micromax itself is a brand which rebrands chinese made smartphones. And this time it’ll be no different again.
