Refer Airtel Thanks App and Win Rewards
Under the Refer and Earn Offer, all subscribers of Bharti Airtel Limited (“Airtel”) in India are encouraged to participate for a chance to win exciting prizes
This Offer is only available for all mobile subscribers of Airtel in India.
Under this Offer, an Airtel subscriber may send an invite link generated through the Airtel Thanks application, available on Apple’s Store and Google Play Store, to another person.
On referring another person to avail Airtel’s mobility services and successful joining of a new person, the Referrer and the Referee shall get gift coupons (“Coupons”) from Airtel. These coupons may be utilized further to avail discount or extra data from Airtel.
If Referrer is prepaid user he/she will get Rs 25*2 prepaid vouchers applicable on recharge of Rs 249* and above(excluding 399 & 449 plan). If referrer is postpaid user he/she will get Rs 25*2 discount vouchers applicable on bill payment of Rs 500 and above.
If referee is prepaid user he/she will get Rs 25*2 prepaid vouchers applicable on recharge of Rs 249* and above(excluding 399 & 449 plan). If referee is postpaid user he/she will get Rs 25*2 discount vouchers applicable on bill payment of Rs 500 and above.
The awarded Coupons will be available to the Referrer and the Referee on their Airtel Thanks application, under the rewards page or under the “MyCoupons” page. On the subscriber choosing to redeem these Coupons, these would be auto-applied to their account.
The invite link generated through the Airtel Thanks app may be shared with the Referrer’s friends & family through Whatsapp, SMS, other social media apps or email. The Referrer becomes eligible to be awarded the Coupon once the Referees download the Airtel Thanks app using the shared link and complete the required registration.
It is clarified that only New Users would be eligible to become a Referee and get the Coupons. New Users would mean users who did not transact using the Airtel Thanks app in the last 100 days from the date of accepting the shared link.
There is no restriction on the number of people a subscriber can refer. However, it is clarified that a Referrer can only accumulate a maximum of 10 coupons throughout the Offer.
Apart from the Coupons, the Referrer shall also be eligible to take part in a weekly draw, under which there can be a maximum of 10 winners. The eligible subscribers for the weekly draw shall be chosen on basis of number of successful referrals done in that respective week (Monday to Sunday).
The winners of the weekly draw shall be decided on basis of a lucky draw done through computerized random selection.
Nine (9) winners of the weekly shall be eligible to receive Amazon vouchers upto Rs 5000, with one (1) winner eligible to win one MI 43 inch Smart TV.
Airtel shall not be responsible for any defects, issues- performance or otherwise, warranties for the gifts provided under the weekly draw.
Airtel shall not be obligated or liable in any respects to answer queries/ doubts/ clarifications for any entry or winning or losing the weekly draw, or for process of selecting the winners.
Weekly winners will be intimated with instructions on how to collect their bumper prize(s) by Airtel or its authorized agents. The prize must be collected by the winners within 14 days of being intimated. In case the prize is not claimed by the winner within the stipulated period of 14 days, the prize shall be deemed to have been forfeited and winner will not be able to claim it.
If the Referee is a prepaid customer, he/she shall also be eligible to receive Free 2 GB data upon downloading and registering on the Airtel Thanks App for the first-time. This free data will be automatically credited to the Referee’s data balance once the registration on the Airtel Thanks App is completed. It is clarified that only Referees who are prepaid customers and registering on the Airtel Thanks App for the first-time will be eligible for the Free 2 GB data offer.
By availing of this Offer, it shall be deemed that the subscribers have accepted these terms and conditions, and they acknowledge and consent to disclosing of their contact details to Airtel’s gift logistics partner in case of winning the weekly draw or any prize under this Offer..
In the rare case of non-availability of any prize mentioned under this Offer, a prize with a similar value from comparable brand may be offered.
Income Tax liability for the Gift Tax would be with the recipient.
Airtel or the logistics partner shall not be responsible for any costs/ charges/ fees applicable or imposed upon the winner in order to use the prizes.
These terms and conditions shall constitute an agreement between Airtel and each individual participant / winners of the Offer, and these terms shall be binding on the participants and the winners.
Airtel will be entitled to postpone, suspend, modify or cancel the Offer or any aspect thereof, across the entire territories of service or any part thereof, at any time before or during the Offer with or without notice, for any reason, including, but not limited to, acts of God, force majeure, technical difficulties, or any other reasons beyond Airtel’s reasonable control. If Airtel suspends or cancels the Offer in the interim, all aspects of the Offer shall be null and void. Airtel will not be liable to compensate any participant or winner for any postponement or cancellation or for any reason directly or indirectly arising out of this Offer.
Any dispute or claim (contractual or non-contractual) arising out of or in relation to this agreement, including disputes as to its formation, will be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian laws. Subject to the point above, Airtel and the Participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at New Delhi alone.
