@sardasa1 @desivideshi @AJ89 @anjukkumar @1cooldesidd We should write to ICICI Bank as On payback card NOT all the earned points are earned via ICICI bank / card transactions , points are also earned by doing transactions via multiple payback partners but ICICI bank is charging reward redemption fee every time points are burned/reedemed whether it is their points or other partner points.
How could bank charge a fee on reedeming points which are earned via transactions done at other payback patterns ( Non-ICICI)?
Doing so is truly illegal and unethical as well. They are only allowed to charge a fees on points earned via ICICI bank/card transactions.
Spread the word – More Voices more chances of hearing by bank authorities ..
Better to keep two payback accounts. One for ICICI Bank and one for other websites. This way you can redeem points on your other card without paying any fee.
I think the best deal out of these is Rs. 20*2 recharge in 80 payback points. But beware: In case your payback account is linked to ICICI Bank. Rs. 25 + GST will be debited for each redemption.
