• The AWS AI & ML Scholarship Program, in collaboration with Udacity, is an AI/ML-focused scholarship program providing 2,000 scholarships over 2024, as well as mentorship, to students that identify as underserved and underrepresented in technology.
• The program aims to make the future tech workforce more diverse by removing financial barriers, providing training for careers in tech, and offering mentorship support to individuals who are underserved or underrepresented in tech.

Start by signing up for AWS DeepRacer Student and opt in to the AI & ML Scholarship program. There are currently over 20 hours of free content available to start learning today. Track your progress for the AI & ML scholarship program requirements on AWS DeepRacer Student. Once you complete the prerequisites, you’ll get a unique code via email that you can use to submit your application.

What will you learn inside the AWS Generative AI Course?

• Lesson 1 aims to provide an understanding of how artificial intelligence fits within the broader societal and historical contexts. You will explore Eliza Chatbot, AWS Alexa, and AWS Sagemaker.
• Lesson 2 serves as an introduction to the key concepts and principles which underpin artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Lesson 3 explores Large Language Models (LLMs), particularly their evolution over time and underlying architectures which are used. You will explore AWS Bedrock, Prompt engineering, and Datasets for fine-tuning.
• Finally, lesson 4 anchors the foundational technical knowledge explored in the previous lesson with how generative AI can be used within society, responsibly, and inclusively.
• In the final project for the course, you will fine-tune a foundation model for domain adaptation using AWS Sagemaker and unstructured text.
