My Cricket League 2018 (April 7th – May 27th)

How to participate

All you have to do is, share your team of 11 members in this thread and earn points.

TEAM FORMATION

Your squad size should be 11 consisting of:

Minimum 4 Batsmen.
1 Wicket Keeper.
Minimum 1 All-rounder
Minimum 2 Bowlers

Total no of Bowlers plus All-Rounders should be at least 5.
You can not select 2 pure Wicket Keepers. If your team has 2 or more Batting Wicket Keeper one will be consider as wicket-keeper and other(s) will be consider as batsman.

CAPTAIN SELECTION

Choose a captain from your squad of 11 players. Points of the player you selected as captain will be doubled.

POINTS CALCULATION

NOTE: All players earn batting, bowling and fielding points, regardless of the roles they have been assigned. All the above points get doubled for your Captain,

All team entries must be submitted by 4th April 11:59 PM

Team Selection Post Match Number 56

Participants can submit a fresh team consisting of 11 players and select a Captain.

All Teams must be submitted 1 hour before the start of the 1st Quarter Final match. Till 7 PM 22nd May.

If user fails to submit their fresh teams by that time then their team’s scores till match number 56 will only be considered for final calculation. They can continue their daily predictions.

For Daily Predictions

Questions will be asked for every match and correct prediction wins.
Daily prediction must come in 1 hour before the start of each match.

Prizes are as follows

1. Person with highest points will win Rs 3000 Dimes.
2. Person with second highest points will win Rs 1500 Dimes.
3. Users who are standing from 3rd to 10th position will get Rs 300 Dimes each.
4. Daily prediction winners will be awarded Rs 50 Dimes each.

I think they are only conducting it matchwise. But you are conducting for whole league (which requires more workload).

Ex:- Strike Rate Bonus Points
Runs : 35 Balls : 40 BP : 35 – 40 = -5

Ex:- Economy Rate Bonus Points
Balls : 24 Runs Given : 54 BP : 48 – 54 = -6

Will then negative bonus points or zero bonus point.

Query 2. What is main wicket keeper does not keeps wicket. Ex : I select de Kock as Wicket Keeper but he field because Parthiv Patel keeps Wicket Keeping, then will his runs calculated?

Query 1:

No zero bonus points. It will be negative points for both the strike rate and economy rate points for the examples u have quoted.

That is the tricky point in this years points calculation.

Query 2:
Both parthiv patel and de kock’s runs will be taken into ur team points calculation.
