I have not travelled much except for Darjeeling, Lava/ Lolegaon, Goa and few other places in South India and amongst them hill areas are my favourite, mostly because of the calm. The following was taken from darjeeling tour way back in 2008. Sorry for poor quality, but didn’t bother to pack my cameras, so mobile camera it is, even though its from a P1 which was supposedly a flagship back then, Lol.

Beauty of ganga river @vindhyachal ghat, mirzapur

Many favourites but this is more recent. It was taken in a floating restaurant at Poovar Island, Thiruvanthapuram. The small stretch of sand is called Golden Sand Beach. It actually glitters under the sun which isn’t visible in the pic since it was a rainy day. The Neyyar river (backwaters) and Arabian Sea join here. This was the best backwater ride I’ve experienced in Kerala. It’s underhyped as compared  to Allepey.
