Had that throw from Guptill hit any other fielder or stumps or anything on field, that should have been awarded an extra four runs for opponent team.
But, throws hitting the opponent players (2Batsmen )on field and going to boundary line, there shouldn’t be awarded any extra overthrow runs for it.Thats totally injustice with the fielding team.

Those who are saying they NZ didn’t deserve to be in finals should note that the only team that had beaten India twice(warm-up and SF) in this wcup was New Zealand.And I am pretty much sure that they would have beaten India in the league fixture too, had it not washed out.
As India was totally dependent on its TOP 3 in the whole tournament And were always going to lose the match in swinging condition against high-quality swing bowlers like of NZ.

This world cup scenario has made admins also in tricky situation

Considering the full match,every run scored and every ball bowled should be considered.Super Over is a part of cricket match.

@bumblefoot @Nigel As per the official rules of the ICC, Super Over is solely responsible for the purpose of deciding winner. Runs scored, balls bowled or wickets taken in Super Overs are not considered or included in the official records of the players’ statistics or match statistics.

In one of the earlier matches, there was difference of opinion. Question was – How many players scored half-century? 3 players scored more than 50 runs including a century by one player. However, as per ICC official rules, admin marked the answer as 2 players since player with century was not considered for half-century.
Ben Stokes should be the correct answer for Main’s contest paid question as this contest is administered by the rules of the ICC.

@bumblefoot At the start of this contest, many dimers felt that the prize amount offered to the 1st winner of Main contest was less. All other prizes were good except the 1st winner Main prize.

I know you want more dimers to win which is good but you shouldn’t decrease the 1st winner prize amount. You have drastically decreased the 1st winner prize amount as compared to the IPL contest.

Also the 1st winner prize amount offered this time was lower than the 1st winner prize amount offered in 2015 World Cup.

This was a huge and grueling tournament. Kindly recognize the efforts put in by increasing the 1st winner Main prize amount to at least Rs.4000 since the current 1st winner prize amount is less as compared to previous contests and also as compared to efforts put in and time spent.

@G-Gowda Dimers felt at the start of this contest that the prize offered to 1st winner was way too less as compared to previous cricket contests and efforts to be put in.

If you see the prize of the 1st winner of IPL contest and the prize for rest of the winners of IPL contest, you would realize that admin drastically decreased the 1st winner prize amount whereas all other prizes of this contest are kept some what similar.

The prizes offered to all other winners except 1st winner are some what similar to the prizes offered in previous contests whereas admin drastically decreased the 1st winner prize amount.

Even if the contest is over, the winner can claim appropriate prize if they feel that their efforts are not recognized with adequate monetary value.

Recently, USA women team won the Women World Cup and many people blamed FIFA for giving inappropriate, inadequate and lower winning amount as compared to winning amount offered to FIFA Men World Cup.

I know that online cricket contest cannot be considered to physical sports but the winner is a winner and they can claim appropriate prize amount even after the contest is over if they feel so.

Missed by few spots was in top 50 but 2-3 predictions was not in favor any way congratulations winners

A) Pot money:12500 so add 1150 to the pot money and double the prize amount.
B) if the pot money mentioned is, total no. gold dimes converted, then available is 6250, add 575 and price amount will be 1.5x times original amount.

Yes, The 1st prize money was less! But, one should have debated on it before getting on that position(For the sake of Top ranker’s pride) and not after getting (finishing) on that position(it’s now Debate for self).

During the last 7 weeks, most of the time was spent in analyzing the data, predicting the answers and watching the matches. Sometimes, I was elated, sometimes I was nervous. But every time I watch the match and play the contest, there was emotion attached to it. The way those last 7 weeks have passed, it’s amazing!

This tournament was similar to life and had every emotion attached. We have seen teams fighting hard and bouncing back hard and fighting until the very end. Favourite teams losing matches to underdogs. In the final, there was HAND of GOD (or BAT of GOD). In life also, we experience something when we don’t except that to happen and we rejoice when we bounce back hard.

Cricket as well as Life teaches us not to take things for granted and every challenge lightly, be calm and composed and fight until the very end and who knows you may see HAND of GOD in your life.

Kudos to DD team for organising such contest. I started playing this game just for the sake of fun and never expected to win anything. Still surprised to see myself in top 50 as I forgot to play it many times and lost last few predictions. It is like getting one year completion gift . Also would take this opportunity to thank all dimers for their help and support since the day I joined DD last year.
