Congratulations to all four teams for reaching the semi finals
Team Invincible vs Team Ironman (1100 Hrs)
DD22 vs Virtual Warriors (1500 Hrs)
Both the Games will be on played on 22nd June 2016 (tomorrow)
Below are the type of contest which will be played in semi-final match. Total time per match will be 1 hour and 45 minutes.
1. Strategy [30 minutes]
2. Rapid fire (total 3 games) [45 minutes]
3. Never buy if you are a dimer (one chance only) [30 minutes]
Admin team will create a new thread for all the games, and both the teams has to post their entries in that one thread only.
Minimum 2 players has to take part in the match. And one player cant play one contest/game continuously.
For Example:- If Player A is playing contest 1 (strategy), then he cant play game 1 under contest 2 (Rapid fire), but he can play game 2.
Rules for the match is as follows.

- Admin team will announce one product category in the main contest thread, each team has to select five stores withing 5 minutes, after which the Admin will release the product.
- Each team will get 25 minutes to find the cheapest product from only the 5 stores which the team has selected. Time starts as soon as the product is posted.
- Editing your thread or posts is not allowed. If you find a better deal/coupon, please comment in your contest thread as a fresh post.
- Links/Sites where the product is out of stock will not be considered as an valid entry.
- The product has to be from an Indian site (international sites shipping products to India wont be considered).
- Coupons can be applied, but these coupons can not be one time coupon codes of other coupon/affiliate sites, cant be bank specific coupon codes, Signup/registration coupons will be allowed.
- Entries containing final price after cashback will not be considered valid
- Product link and price must be correct and it should be in the same post. (Round off figure will not be considered) if price is Rs 4.56 Then mentioning Rs 5 is not valid)
- If the deal is from eBay, seller rating less than 50 will not be allowed (unless it is promoted by eBay itself).
- Deals/Coupons from sites which are banned on DesiDime won’t be allowed in the contest.

@bobby4080 Sir impact is on other teams too who were here to play semi finals. And few of them took leave to participate so its not only you. thread is locked but discussion is still on right ?
And when we know that we have done it then why do we need Dimers opinion ? right decision was to have rematch for it. we cant just declare winners based on our mistakes.
If we know that in question there was some changes done within few seconds it was shared. and both team read it differently then thats the reason for rematch.
And if you question is why he quoted that he didnt changed it that was post completion of the match right, not in between, and when other team inquired about it that when we realized that it was interpreted incorrectly by both teams. So that was the reason match was conducted today.

So i dont see any discussion related to yesterday’s tie breaker issue. Because question was not valid so nobody won.
And that was the reason we had tie breaker round today. And both teams were available here and in their presents match was conducted. Now to participate or not its totally upto teams we cant force anyone for that.
So we are really not able to understand what is the issue here. if there was a rematch scheduled today when both teams were present & had equal chance to qualify.
We are not going to change any decision now.

A sincere request to the admins. I am not participating in this years DPL 2016. I had to dig out posts just to proove that what rules were decided and implemented. I did this just for the sake, a correct decision is made. I again request the admins to have a look, and collectively take a GOOD decision.
I am trying to point out once again "Only the team which deserves based on the performance should go to the semi finals, rather been eliminated by the complex wordings of the RULES.
I still feel, if the decision of the Today’s REMATCH was warranty aspect ….. The entry from Bobby from shopclues was a VALID one !!!!
Rest lies in the sole hands of the ADMINS !!! They are the final authority and their wordings would be considered as FINAL !!!! But as an OPEN FORUM we can definitely raise any doubts if we have any !!!!

So the interpretation of that rule has changed , now warranty needs to be specifically mentioned on the product page and generic line will not be considered as warranty. Clarifying for the sake of future matches.

Well that’s wrong bumble, last year the rule was made pretty clear, if their is warranty mentioned, be it a generic line or as an specification, it will be considered as manufacturer warranty. We lost a match coz of this reason, so remember it correctly.

Well it seems there are no fixed set of rules for DPL based from ADMINS prespective. The RULES keep changing according to the situation at hand.
The same sentence was interpreted in a different manner last year. The same sentence is now interpreted in a different manner.
Just twist the wordings of the rules and make a decision according to your needs. ALL the BEST for successful completion of this years DPL.
Hoping no such issues arise in the upcoming matches. Still three left to go.
