So, there are two things that are required for new RAM to fit in.
1. The RAM's DDR Version (Make sure your laptop works on DDR3)
2. There's a Maximum RAM capacity that is supported in each laptop. That should not exceed. (You can check your laptop's RAM max capacity by following these steps : https://www.myfixguide.com/check-max-ram-suppor...)
