Redemption applicable only for Spend bonus points not applicable on regular MR points.
If u have previous year spend bonus points u can redeem.
I had redeemed today morning using their chat option in thier App.

Redeem it via ‘Message us’ option on Amex Mobile app or call them. Note down the reference number.

Better you go for 18k or 24K gold collection reward redemptions option else 0.25 for normal GVs redemptions.

Redeemed my 30k points on my travel card for 8k vouchers just a week ago 
anticipating annual fee in this month billing cycle. As anticipated, fee was levied. Customer care is saying spend 4 lakhs in 3 months to get waiver. I said this is crazy target in crazy times. They said they will get back to me with some revised offer. Waiting..
How much have you spent in last 12 months ?
while fee waiver request made, i got 3 options
1. Spend Rs 4 lacs in next 3 months.
2. Redeem 10k Regular points for value of Rs. 5000+ 900 GST,
3. convert the card to Membership reward card and loose the benefit of Rs 13000 additional benefit of spend based bonus + loosing the Taj voucher of Rs. 10k
.
For those who are feeling bad about losing on this offer please don’t. The Flipkart redemption is only available for bonus points. Earlier these bonus points were redeemable for Spicejet vouchers at higher value (1:1). Now those vouchers are discontinued.
For Amex Plat Travel Card – you get 7500 points for spending 1.9L and 10,000 bonus points for spending 4L. These are now convertible to Rs 5000 and Rs 7500 FK voucher respectively. Regular points are not redeemable for FK vouchers.
If you have received milestone bonus points and they have not been redeemed you can avail this. E.g.:
You earn 5000 regular points and 7500 bonus points = Total 12,500 points
If you redeemed 10,000 points for say travel vouchers then your balance is 2500 points. Any points you earn after this would be normal points and you cannot redeem.
If you redeemed 5,000 points then your balance is 7500 points (regular points go out first). You are eligible to redeem.

If you have any travel planned – you can transfer these to Marriott Rewards for 1:1 ratio. Most Marriott hotels in India range from 5000 points (per night) to 30k points (per night). Average is around 60 paise to Rs 1/point. Only helps if you have travel and hotel stay planned. Marriott has around 125 hotels in India so many options.
Transfer to Hilton is also an option but lower value (~ 40 paise) and only around 20 hotels in India.
For milestone points only you can convert to Flipkart vouchers. ~ 75 to 80 paise per point.
For vouchers and shop with points the value is quite low ~ 20-25 paise per point.
Checkout offers section under Membership Rewards – sometimes they have vouchers on sale. Today for e.g.: they have Bigbasket and Flipkart at about 27-28 paise per point redemption. Still quite low.
