1. Today i went phoenix marketcity with a friend and tried a store called ‘Belgyum’, Didn’t get the notification in my app while checkout tried few times and later got to know their GPRS enabled network was pathetic.

Went to Inorbit mall tried the restaurant ‘Mekong’, While checkout didn’t get the notification in my app. Tried troubleshooting like clearing cache, clear data and SignUp and Uninstall and reinstall + SignUp. No use, Later paid via card. When i checked with support they say they didn’t get the bill in their server. Had a argument with momoe manager about this and he explained that the restaurant’s POS system was not communicating with momoe client app. I clearly told them i am loosing hope on this app if i face the same issue in next restaurant i might end the relation with momoe.

3. We could also use these credits at a Pub/Bar and buy liquor too right!, Just think about this: you walk in, order a big bottle of your favourite liquor and then buy using credits and take home. although price will be a little higher.

4. The best thing i observed in app is, If GPS enabled and open the app it will show you the list of restaurants based on which is nearby.

5. @sidbhai No, you don’t have to buy a code or trick to be friends Sure we can meetup sometime.

have one 3g enabled sim since I have two sims one or other will work.

and my friend created different account on same mobile and he lost all his credits.
so don’t create more account on same mobile.

Momoe is also like mobikwik or what ,multiple accounts means credit gone?? Further when their are dual sim phones now a days,I Dont under stand why can’t they allow at least two accounts like ola cabs app.sometimes I forget which mobile number I have entered in app ,out of two sims ,even some app directly take 1 st sim connection which I Dont want as it is offical sim …..

@harsh300684741 @prajwaldr9548 Today went to Shopwell supermarket (maintained by mallu’s as usual). Bought some cookery and kitchen items along with muesli and cereals. They didn’t give any discounts on these but they gave some discount on the kitchen and cookery items. Used UberX to transport items home (15kms far), So much satisfying

Use Donkey guard or XPrivacy to block permission for any app to use Identification parameters

Went to the vijyanagar store today, with my brother.

My god – I didn’t expect that.

The store was so small that we couldn’t go in and browse around.

We had to stay out and order items.

NEVER expected that.

And finding the store was another pain.

And I was also NOT sure if my credits would work.

And, if that wasn’t ENOUGH, my 3G wasn’t working.

I was like: “Faaackkk! Only troubles. Who wanted this sh!t?”

But like a brave warrior, switched on 3G on another phone, then personal hotspot ON.

And used my phone to launch Momoe app.

Somewhat relieved at this point.

Then I told the owner politely that this is the first time I am using.

He is a clever man.

I asked him ghee price, for which he said it’s 350 per kg, but through phone it’s 360

Then I knew he would charge more as he is getting benefited. I had come a long way (took wrong route), and didn’t pay much for these Momoe credits anyway, so I ordered rice bag worth 25 KG regardless of the MRP (it was 1100)

Ghee was not in stock.

The process was really smooth. He also said many came to his store with 2G, and Momoe never worked for them.

For us, transaction took less than a MINUTE.

We all saw the FUTURE… that SMOOTH mobile payment happening right in front of our eyes.

It was such a pleasure.

To see money transferring from one phone to another.

So as this order was confirmed, I was sure these momoe things DO WORK. So I thought what should we order next. Because we didn’t went prepared that the store would be so small, we simply looked at the ceilings wondering.

The owner said to decide, gave his whatsapp number, and said you can ORDER anytime via WhatsApp, and I will create the momoe bill for you.

Then pickup whenever is convenient. I imagine he is also getting benefited with this.

We definitely need more stores. And India should become WiFi, only then such system will work flawlessly.

Love that this is working. It’s little things like this that gives us pleasure.

If only we had this in Big Bazaar, Reliance Store, and elsewhere… life would be so much more convenient.

Don’t particularly like doing all this (I prefer bigbasket as it offers hasslefree delivery, but seeing that fat smile on my mom’s face made it worth the journey).

In Sanjaynagar, it is a Supermarket. You can browse in the shop and take the items which you require. It is far better than Vijayanagar Store.

@sidbhai May be nammagrocery was near to you that’s why you would have visited. I also felt he was charging a little extra.

I am staying near BSK third stage. And yes, I remember your comment. That is why went with less hopes. But those less hopes were crushed as well.

Now waiting for groupon offer again, so I can buy more credits and go to far away places like Bellandur or Sanjaynagar. Otherwise waste of time.

I also have jiffstore account, and they offer 100 off if you sign up under someone. Not exactly exciting as Momoe, but it seem to cover a lot of areas in Bangalore – and hey, FREE delivery.
