GUYS I JUST CAME BACK FROM THE STORE.

Went with HUGE excitement and came back with SAME HUGE disappointment.

I went to the Bellandur store.

It’s really MUCH better than the vijayngar store.

Lots of items.

And I took my mom along, but I told her three things before doing so:

1. THIS MAY NOT WORK. If it doesn’t, we can go home.
2. THIS MAY GIVE 50% OFF. If it does, we can go home.
3. THIS MAY WORK 100% and we pay Rs. 1 only. And if it does, we will party.

Needless to SAY, NO PARTY!

I was very well prepared, with 3G, and also UBER was booked.

So we went to the store.

I told the guy that I want to test the app. He called someone and said to buy anything.

We bought ghee.

As soon as the owner entered my number, I received a message saying: Rs. 185 will be taken from the credit.

WHAT THE FCUK!

That means rs 370 ghee, and I will have to pay remaining 50%.

It was that moment my mom was… we came this far, it’s OKAY!

I bought that ghee. This was a TEST – thank GOD we did it.

And so we decided to ONLY buy what is ESSENTIAL.

And inside I was like “no freakin way, these momoe guys are NUTS!”

How can they even do anything like this? Chance credit limit whenever you want?

As someone mentioned here, 99-100% off should work till May 9th.

But that never happened.

They WON. What tricks!

So we were in the store, wondering what next to do.

First, I paid for the ghee. 185 rs only.

Then I immediately called the vijaynagar store guy from bellandur store, told him to make a bill of
2 KG ghee.

I wanted to compare and test if this store offers 50%… or what, as vijaynagar store gave
100% off. He said he will.

He didn’t.

Called back after 5 minutes again. With mom wondering what is this guy doing. Lol.

And I got the bill.

740 rs. And 370 will be taken from momoe credits.

And then I was like that’s freakin it.

We will buy from this store as now discount is 50% EVERYWHERE.

Then I saw the momoe app Promo Code page. It was written max 50% off.

This wasn’t there when I checked this morning.

As we came this far, and invested our time, I went on and purchased… what was
mandatory. We quickly did 1:30 hours of shopping.

And bought essentials only.

Total of nearly 5k bill. Paid 2.4k + rs. 185 in total.

Still NOT a BAD deal. We thought.

And OUT we went, with LESS hopes, into the Uber car, back to our home.

Discussing… what if WE BOUGHT IT LAST WEEK!

I had 2 vouchers purchased yesterday. Now I tried to apply but it is not appling

It wasn’t about the discount.

But it is about the trust.

They should have NOTIFIED.

Last time when we got one bag or rice, we were happy.

And we went with same enthusiasm this time, waiting to spend all the credits.

Now, to spend these credits, I have to buy double.

The store has appliances we planned to buy. Especially Induction cooker.

With 50% off, it is not a worthy deal. And the credits in my momoe will be almost waste when the credit limit reduces to 25%.

But this was a wrong move from Momoe.

Oh yes, half of my vouchers didn’t work.

I never cared, thinking it’s 100% discount anyway.

That never happened.

I am not going to calculate on the savings now, but more disappointed that a company
can take this route at their WILL, without informing (or wrongly informing).

ALSO, if I think about it, it’s not 50% as I bought worth somewhere like 1k worth of
Groupon credits. Still not entirely so much angry.

Just disappointed.
